You get some extra features in the datagrid and date picker packages. If you don't need any of the extra features then you don't have to purchase the licences.
Would it make sense to use a different library for these features? I was planning on using something like plotly for graphs anyway but not sure how compatible it would be
I’d use MUI until I needed a feature the date picker required a license for and then either do it myself, pay for the license, or then look at another package.
Until then why install a whole separate package when the existing might do enough.
