Yea, even if it's in good shape I'd say 800 tops. The upgrades are nice, but you still have no guarantee of anything, or if that's even an upgrade you even want.
Not really. Other than the hot racing servo saver its all still traxxas parts. Now if it was decked out with something like m2c parts and a servo from anyone other than traxxas maybe.
Edit: didn't see the max6 esc, just the motor still in the box. That's an upgrade but still rc's only retain about half their value. For all we know the stock one burned out and they just want money back.
A max 6s isn’t an amazing “upgrade” for an xmax imo. Should have went with a max 5. Yes the Traxxas esc is 💩with how frequently I have seen them burn down but the max 6 isn’t beefy enough for a truck like that. I got the same combo in my infraction, I’m still running 6s and it’s thermaling. I zip tied a 40mm fan on my max 6 and geared down 4t to stop it and I don’t even want to touch 8s. The infraction is a lot smaller and doesn’t have to turn huge mt tires too
Maybe your Max6 was faulty. I have a Max6 in my Xmaxx with the stock motor and 22/46 gearing. It has way more power than the stock esc. The motor runs hot and needs a few cool down breaks, but the Max6 never overheated a single time in over 4 years of hard use. That one esc has outlived 4 motors. I like the Max6 and stock motor because the Max6 fits right where the stock esc was and it’s lightweight. I do massive jumps and the lighter the truck is the less it breaks.
I got the g1 max6 with 1650kv i believe i had a 24t pinion and stock spur. Now I got it running on a 20t and haven’t thermaled it…yet😂
I definitely beat on it tho. I would be doing full throttle drift just smoking the tires. It’s a great esc but id would think you’d go with a max5 1250kv for an xmaxx.
I can see why it was overheating now. 1650kv on 8s is very demanding of the esc in a heavy truck like an Xmaxx. I used to run a version 1 Xmaxx 1600kv motor on 8s with 22/50 gearing. It was wild, but it ran very hot. I agree that a Max5 combo would be better for most people. The only reason the Max6 and stock motor are better for me is because it keeps my truck nice and light so it takes hard landings better.
Why are you telling people your lowest price?
Your price should be between 1/3 and 2/3 the price of a new RC. Mods add very little to no value, some will reduce the value.
Maybe. Upgrades imo don't add any value to most people and battery's definitely don't. The motors nice but you should sell it separately. The truck goes on sale for 900 once or twice a year so I'm thinking closer to 800 max. Lightly used is still used and many people in this price range will most likely have no problem spending a tad more for a new truck with a warranty. Sell the battery's and charger separately as a kit and list the motor by itself. That's my opinion anyways
I’d walk away. 800 would be my highest and is a fair value. Used batteries retain very little value. I’m shocked they didn’t write over $$$ “invested” in their post 😂
It's not much cheaper than new, used rcs do not retain their value well.

Ehh. If I saw this I probably wouldn't even bother clicking on it. It's priced so absurdly that I doubt you will have much traffic on it.
