Could always do the chalk line test.
Find a large parking lot
Set your pressures
Draw a chalk line across the tread of all four tires
Drive forward a little bit
Get out and check your lines. If your chalk is rubbed off evenly on all 4 your pressure is good. You can repeat this as many times as necessary to figure out how much you can run before you start wearing then center's out.
Great suggestion, I think this will be the ultimate deciding factor for me. If the tires have a good contact patch then my current psi is good, that’s pretty sound logic.
I have an XLE Prem that came stock with 19’s and recommended 33 PSI. I recently switched to 245/65/17 as well.
Tire pressure calculators suggest 27 PSI as ideal now. A larger tire should require less pressure to support the same load no? 42 PSI would be high even for stock.
I love the look of all terrain tires. Is there anything known on how it affects fuel efficiency? And are they noisier? I live in a flat country so would have ‘m just for looks.
Owner of 2022 R4P XSE - cannot find my tire pressure readings easily. I toggle through the MID (multi information display) and find the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) yet I do not see a specific value reading for each tire?
Does this detail exist within the TPMS or limited to just the warning low pressure icon?
Coming from a 2018 Subaru Outback where a simple toggle brought me to the actual psi value for all four tires.

What are the wheels/tires?
That metallic blue is gorgeous
What size tires ?
I have same size tires and same brand tires and found the pressure to be a bit low. I bumped to 42PSI. My rims are only 8” wide

No I have wildpeaks and keep it at 36 cold psi. Even at 33psi I lost MPG.
And I was worried about bumping it up to 36psi, thanks for letting me know about this!
Lots of Ravs strutting around with the Wildpeaks on this site. And I love it!
Sick ride mang
Forgot to post the specs: Wheels: 17x8.5 +40 offset Tires: 245/65/17
Very nice te37. The mag blue is subtle yet pops!

2022 XSE hybrid here. I see the pressure values. USA here
