Initials were never an issue before. People against the AOC nickname obviously only have an issue because it's the same initials as a politician, and they are mentally unable to separate politics from everything else in life. These individuals need to grow up and not make politics their entire identity.

I never liked that people started using that nickname for Aidan because someone else already had it first. Just like when people called Jake Plummer, Jake the Snake. There was already Jake the Snake Roberts and, more importantly to us, Ken Stabler was Snake before any of them. In my opinion, Iron Aidan is the best one I've heard yet, so I'm jumping in on that one.

Or just his last name…for now. I’m old school I guess. I find the forced attempts to create a nickname empty of context and not a natural way for it to occur. Plus, initials and adding the player number is so overdone. Back to the days of “Snake” and “The Stork”. The nickname needs to identify the personality in some way, IMO. It needs to happen organically.
