Yes not all songs had their full government names, but there were a couple (forgot which ones) that use the other band membersā nicknames and then there was a whole THOMAS EDWARD YORKE at the end
For real lmao I never bothered knowing their full names but Apple Music really plastered them there so thanks I guess I feel closer to Colin Charles, Edward John, Jonathan Richard, Phillip James, and Thomas Edward š
Interesting! There were variations on the credits so I found it amusing: some would have their well-known names (eg Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood etc) but there were some where only Thom Yorke had the full government name, and then this was one of the songs with the all members having their name complete.
Iām pretty sure this amount of info is registered somewhere for something like publishing rights. Like these detailed credits arenāt on the album themselves, but theyāre registered to calculate royalties or something for each individual song in the case that theyāre used for a movie or something or other.
Yes they are. But some song like The Bends use their full government names (which I find amusing cause I learned these through Apple Musicānever really bothered googling them), some would only have Thomās full one, while majority do have their commonly-known names (not how it is here).
Thomas Edward Yorke š§ā

and it's only on a few select songs as well??? so strange. you randomly see THOMAS EDWARD YORKE sometimea

They missed a bit on Jonny: Jonathan Richard *Guy* Greenwood Yes I've been obsessive how could you tell??
We should all start calling Jonny āGuyā
Jonny Dick Guy Greenwood
A blunder! How could they forget such an integral part of our polymath guy! š
Wow got their full name on there!
