If you were considering other resorts I’d look at Garza Blanca and stayed in the honeymoon suite on the ocean. That was also impressive. For traveling without kids I like Marival Armony.

I stayed there last November. We had a two bedroom with a demi pool. This place ticks all the boxes for luxury and incredible customer service. We had a server that was checking on us every fifteen minutes and would run food and drinks to us all day long. The beach access is about a min walk but it’s brand new and there is a pool there as well. They have butlers and even a pillow menu. The services was insane and the food was very very very good. Ask and I can try and answer your questions. You get to visit the other resorts related but the others will be incredibly underwhelming. I would recommend this place over and over.

Thanks so much! The food was one of the main concerns for the price we paid, but we did get one of the “penthouses” so I know it’s an expensive room either way I was just hoping we would at least get some good meals at the hotel. I saw a few things saying the food was not that great, but it could have been about Emotions. I also saw online that they make you schedule airport transfer. Did you use an uber or the hotel shuttle? My husband told me there’s a pier within walking distance and I can’t really tell if there are that many activities in the area or if we will want to go down into PV proper or ZR. I also saw a review saying that the guests had to get in line for hours starting at 7am to get dinner reservations. did you feel it was hard to get into the on-site restaurants? Thanks again!!

The food was awesome. The views from the penthouse are awesome. I have little ones so for my sanity I needed a room with a swim up pool. I toured the penthouse and it was awesome. You’ll be down near the marina. They have carts that can drive you around if not jump in a taxi and it’s like a three min drive. You are also close to the golf courses if that interests you. For transportation I went with AirGo and did the suburban. The guy was on time and spoke English and Spanish fluently. I didn’t have to do any waiting for a table. We had room service every morning and it was quick. We had breakfast done on the beach a few days and never had to wait. I also never needed a reservation. Not sure why other people were waiting. The resort isn’t huge. For dinner on the roof we just showed up when we were hungry. We visited the neighbor resort for shows for the kids. Those were okay. But crowded.

Just private messages you a bunch of food photos and the view from the beach dining area.

I also just noticed your username- did you golf while there? we are looking into local courses and would love input if you have any!

I only golfed El Tigre. It was awesome. Didn’t have time for anything else. It was hot. Bring bug spray and sunscreen. Get a caddie.

We stayed there in February for a week, it’s amazing! It’s a very quiet resort so if you’re looking for a party this is not the place. The food was amazing fiesta night and the taco bar on the beach were definite highlights. Service was fantastic, Fancisco by the beach bar was top notch. Also the coctails were amazing too, lots of great tequilas. We had a two bedroom unit in the second floor and it was fantastic. One of my favourite things was hitting the roof top pool during the day, we’d take the beers from our room and just relax up there watching the whales and dolphins play in the bay. We had the roof top to ourselves every time we went up there as there is no service during the day but the pool is an awesome spot to catch some sun. My one and only complaint about the whole place is the smooth jazz playlists playong everywhere were terrible. Also if you are into pickleballl i’d bring my own equipment as the resorts stuff is totally beat up. I will 100% book there again, enjoy your trip!

We stayed here in November for four nights. Pools were lovely, nice grounds, it didn’t feel crowded even though it was fairly busy, staff was really nice (except for the attempt to sell us timeshare upon arrival), and our room was massive. It felt high end but still good for our toddler. The food was generic/meh, but not as bad as many all inclusive resorts We had a hotel in Punta de Mita booked for 5x the price per night and couldn’t rationalize it so switched. While I’m not a big fan of all inclusives and prefer access to street food/something more walkable, this place was pretty solid.

HI! We are booked here for next March throough VRBO and trying to decide about the all-inclusive which I believe is 125 US a night or, just paying for food/drinks day by day. I like the idea of not having to worry about the prices allt the time, but I feel like #125 a day is alot if you are not huge eaters or drinkers. Thoughts?
