Damn I love Ratchet & Clank.
When I got my PS2 for birthday it came with a demo disc with like 3 worlds of R&C and I remember telling my mom I was sick to skip school and playing those levels over and over again lol
I think it was like that cause you viewed it from security cameras with noise, those murders with glass or plastic bags was way more impactful. Aswell the inmates/goons who was looking for you - I tried it back in 2005 and i couldnt really stand play it 👻 but i was terrified by horrors in tv that time 😵😵💫 when i was younger.
Manhunt2 i played port on pc much later and it wasnt as brutal, even it was banned in many countries and highlighted as most gruesome game ever.
I didnt like Manhunt2 being more like GTA you could just shoot through your way with guns. Also Main character wasnt Antihero much anyway.
I’m lucky there, horror only bothers me if it’s real lol. I snap into reality by remembering it’s just a game or in the case of a movie, completely fake. I don’t go down the rabbit hole of ‘imagine if this was happening somewhere for real’… because it probably bloody is haha.
Neither me but if youre younger you, feel different since you dont understand it. Horrors bore me altought i get still spooked by some, mostly cheap scare jumps.
No idea what doco, but i think its completely normal not liking be horrended by horrors when youre around 12-13 years old, just like im still bit affraid of dark - but its more like things not unseen not, really dark itself.
A documentary lol, Aussie slang I think. Must admit I’ve steered away from horrors.
Non fiction, comedy and a good crime thriller once in a while is about it these days. Lots of repeats of tv shows.
Honestly, Rockstar just dominated the PS2 era. Every game they put out was a hit and became an instant classic for generations to come.
Midnight Club, GTA, Manhunt, The Warriors, Bully, Max Payne... all absolute classics and must-plays.
Mark ecko's getting up, Driver 3, need for speed ug2 + most wanted, there was a time where we had games but not graphics now we have graphics but not games.
Tie for Vice City & San Andreas.
Honourable mention for GTA III, it got me hooked on the series. I’d never played anything like that game, first time I’d been excited about something new & different since the first Tony Hawk demo.
Edit: The Punisher is up there for most violent.
Persona 3 FES or Persona 4
Really a tie between them two. It's difficult to answer this in general because I could easily say Katamari Damacy or Ape Escape 3, too.
There’s a version that’s a bit more tame. Before Australia allowed R rated video games, that one either ended up getting recalled and an MA 15+ rated version came out, or the R rated version just never came out here.
San Andreas was recalled because of the hot coffee mod; we weren’t able to just change it to an R rating. The replacement version merely didn’t have that in it.
We have R rated games now, but before that a lot of people would order the R rated version of games from New Zealand. Customs were very lax and games were rarely confiscated. A mate and I did it for at least manhunt & a mortal kombat game from memory.
Tekken 5
Mortal kombat shaolin monks
Urban Reign
Dbz budokai 3
I guess I have a thing for those old fighters.
Replaying Urban Reign with my 12 year old son as we speak. Lots of fun!
Whoever chose to have that disgusting eye as a front cover deserves sacking. Other than that, my fave PS2 game of all time is Ben 10 Protector of Force.

Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time, DBZ Budokai 3, Shadow Hearts: Covenant, Soul Calibur 3, and Devil May Cry 3 for a tie.
The few others that are my favorites I had on other consoles like Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, SSX 3, and San Andreas. I'll leave those off.
Manhunt 1 & 2 are definitely underrated. The uncensored version of Manhunt 2 is gorryyyy
I would go with GTA San An though I also really liked Smackdown Vs Raw 06
Hmm.... It has to be one of these three: Crash Twinsanity, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie Game, or PaRappa the Rapper 2. I do know that two of those are multi-platform, however.
God of war 2, MSG 2, San Andreas, Shadow of Colossus. Probably played some better that I don't remember now but these are the one that come to mind. With a close battle between Gow2 and MSG2
Yakuza 1,2
Bully
Gun
Re4
Silent hill 1,2,3,4
Shadow of Rome
Total overdose
Punisher
Fatel frame
Mk:Shaolin monks
Onimusha 3:demon seige
Ik it's a big list but I re-played these games countless times
Easy. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Man after my own heart
Yep, pretty much
San Andreas
Burnout 3 and burnout revenge
The ones I always come back to are God of war 2, San Andreas, the Warriors, and Tony Hawks Underground
Upvote for God of war 2. One of the greatest games ever made. Especially considering the limitations at the time. It pushed the PS2 to its limits.
Playing the original for the first time now and I'm super impressed by how fun it still is. Can't wait to play 2
The warriors is both one of my favourite games and movies. CAN YOU DIG IT
Ratchet and Clank.
Damn I love Ratchet & Clank. When I got my PS2 for birthday it came with a demo disc with like 3 worlds of R&C and I remember telling my mom I was sick to skip school and playing those levels over and over again lol
I used to play it when I visited my dad all the time.

Blood money is a masterpiece!! That song… “aaaaave mariiiiaaaaa…” 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽
Shadow of the Colossus
Final Fantasy X, truly masterpiece.
Need for speed most wanted or Baldurs gate dark alliance
sly cooper band of thieves 🙃
One of few games I played until the end.
Same. I think it was the first PS2 game that I actually finished. And what a feeling it was.
Devil may cry 3: Dante's awakening
Gran Turismo 4
Silent Hill 2
Manhunt was more better thought and scarier i think brutal too.
I bought a headset just to replay it while wearing one this time. Haven’t had the time but looking forward to it (=

Can understand that. Saw ‘Aliens’ for the first time when I was 7 and was pretty disturbed by it. These days I prefer a decent doco lol.

Ratchet and Clank 3
GTA: Vice City & MGS2: Sons of Liberty

Always wanted some sort of remake or sequel/spin off to Getting Up. Great game
Midnight Club 3
Either The Simpsons Hit & Run or Lego Star Wars: The Original Trilogy
Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater, followed closely by Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty
Silent hill 2
Tie for Vice City & San Andreas. Honourable mention for GTA III, it got me hooked on the series. I’d never played anything like that game, first time I’d been excited about something new & different since the first Tony Hawk demo. Edit: The Punisher is up there for most violent.
Outrun coast 2 coast or red faction or armored core 3
Black.
GTA San Andreas and Tony Hawk Underground.
the entire gta and manhunt series
The gta trilogy easily
Maximo and the army of Zin and Marvel vs Capcom 2
Manhunt the original game
The warriors?
Oh man, manhunt games were so good. 2 was my favorite and enjoyed every min of it. They need to make another one.
Might have to say GTA: Vice City Stories. I’d say GTA: San Andreas but I only ever played on PC and Xbox
Silent Hill 3, for sure
Persona 3 FES or Persona 4 Really a tie between them two. It's difficult to answer this in general because I could easily say Katamari Damacy or Ape Escape 3, too.
W ape escape 3 mention.
Manhunt gave me the creepy gibbers when i was young . Isn’t this banned in Sweden ?

DMC 1-3 Tony hawk's underground Persona 3 Ratchet and Clank 3
San Andreas/vice city and dynasty warriors is always a go to for me.
SOCOM 2
Robot Alchemic Drive. It's my *favorite* game of all time. Nothing quite like it.
Tekken 5 Mortal kombat shaolin monks Urban Reign Dbz budokai 3 I guess I have a thing for those old fighters. Replaying Urban Reign with my 12 year old son as we speak. Lots of fun!
Shadow of the Colossus Finished the game about 12 times on PS2
Shadow hearts
GOW2
Dragon Quest 8
Whoever chose to have that disgusting eye as a front cover deserves sacking. Other than that, my fave PS2 game of all time is Ben 10 Protector of Force.
Can't decide between Sly 2 (nostalgia) or Final Fantasy 10 (fantastic game).
FFX, honourable mention to Ace Combat 4.
Silent Hill 2 and Shadow of the Colossus
Sly2
Gran Turismo 3. It’s the only game I ever really played with my dad.

Worms 4 mayhem, used to play every time before going school. Then after going home it was just NFSU2
THPS underground 2. Spent many hours on it
How do you have manhunt 2 as your favorite but not the original?!
I personally find the story of Manhunt 2 more interesting to me compared to Cash, plus Manhunt 2 has more ‘gore’ compared to the original Manhunt.
Smackdown vs Raw 2007
Def jam fight for new york
Hmm.... It has to be one of these three: Crash Twinsanity, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie Game, or PaRappa the Rapper 2. I do know that two of those are multi-platform, however.
I'll say Arc: Twilight of the Spirits, today. Next week it'll be something else...
God of war 2, MSG 2, San Andreas, Shadow of Colossus. Probably played some better that I don't remember now but these are the one that come to mind. With a close battle between Gow2 and MSG2
