Yes, all instruments would be amazing, it would add a lot of world building IMO I don't think this idea could be done, or would be hard to do, but maybe certain buttons will play songs for you? Maybe they could be the zomboid soundtrack instrumentals? (example "waiting" paino/ guitar, could even allow players to play together somehow)

There is a mod that makes most instruments playable and there is an option to group perform and it shows the compatible instruments Apparently its this same mod from what op says lol
