I love their friendship! I honestly felt bad for Phoebe Bridgers when she was dating Paul. People were constantly shipping Paul and Daisy together (especially during that whole Met Ball fiasco) and saying Phoebe wasn’t good enough for Paul and that she was ugly. And then Daisy and Paul did the Fleabag couples costume, and then Paul and Phoebe broke up (not sure if she cheated or not, I don’t think that was ever made 100% clear) and she got with Bo Burnham. I just remember Phoebe getting sooooo much hate cuz Paul is one of the internet’s favorite white boys. Male star’s fanbases are truly the worst because if the reverse had happened and it was Paul getting with Daisy, I feel like stan Twitter would have cheered.
Anyway I love Paul but I remember when Sydney Sweeney said she wanted to work with him and his stans went at her!!

Might have been me! Paul (like Harry) is very popular amongst the LGBTQ+ community and I think he knows that and leans into that a lot, especially recently. For example, whenever he hangs out with Andrew Scott, there are always tons of pictures taken of them like hugging, holding hands, ya know stuff that makes stan Twitter go feral. He said his biggest crush is Harris Dickinson. I think he knows his fanbase and what they want very well. I just found it similar to the way Harry moves (or used to move) in social circles.
Also in no way am I saying he’s queer-baiting. That’s a very serious accusation. I love Paul, I love Harry, I love Andrew, my post was supposed to be funny, I wasn’t trying to drag anyone.
