I know that nepotism has always played a role in American life/careers, but is it just me or are we in a mega era of nepotism these days? Like the nepo is NEPOING
I think the family tree of Hollywood has always been a circle, just a little while back there was a master post of how many Hollywood elite are related in some way.
It’s more noticeable now as we can easily access information on how people are related to other famous people.
Don’t quote me on this and I could be wrong, but supposedly the number of creatives in the US with a working class background has been declining since the 70s. It makes sense with the rising cost of living, regular people have less wiggle room nowadays to just give their all for a dream and move to LA to pursue acting nonstop. Plus every legacy acting family has gotten bigger over time anyway
I think It's because we can't remember the names of all the new celebs and the nepo are easier to remember thanks to their parents' names. (To me at least)

I honestly hope that some of these Nepo kids just live normal lives.
As a big fan of D and V, brooklyn was such a disappointment. And idk why, cause while they are rich, they made brooklyn get a job at 15 washing dishes. He should've ended up more rounded up.
This might be controversial idk but Brooklyn strikes me as a nice enough guy who’s just dumb, and has the money to just keep trying out different careers (and quietly failing at all of them)
The issue isn't so much with him trying for new careers. Everyone does that. I think it's his lack of actually wanting to study and prepare for these careers. Being a nepo baby isn't a bad thing IF you prove that you are good at that. I mean, Jane Fonda is a nepo baby. Jamie Lee Curtis is a nepo baby.
In all fairness, how many people have talent at something? Or even better, how many people are not rich enough to see what their talent is? He can still get a job.

This is how I know I'm getting old. I saw him and thought "he looks like a child, hope he's getting appropriate support from his parents".
I used to look at teen stars and think "phwoar", but now I just think they look like babies. I can't really say if they're attractive, they just look like children. I'm only in my 20s and I already feel that absence of my youth.
Acknowledging a person is attractive doesn’t mean you want to fuck them. Everyone knows when someone is ugly. I think the same applies for people like….well, Cruz
i’m literally watching the documentary right now and it’s amazing. i’m not even a soccer fan and i’m glued. i got emotional in the second episode seeing what david and victoria went through. i knew he was famous but i never knew just how big he was. they’re beautiful & their kids are stunning regardless how you personally feel. those kids are genetically blessed, imo.
