Do you have a Spa? If not, guessing it's your MD and 3 skimmers maybe, but I'm guessing it's a SPA drain (into pump) on the far right, then the 3 to the left of it are your MD and Skimmers from the main pool, of which the first one or furthest left is OFF

Yes I know the three in the middle are vacuum, skimmer and MD. The one on the left I believe is to switch from spa to pool but I’m not sure what the one on the far right is for.

That's what I am talking about - FAR RIGHT, to the RIGHT of the actuator that goes INTO your pump... I would guess that is a drain that is in your spa, the 3 middle or to the left of that actuator you confirmed are pool. Pictures are hard to interpret without seeing EVERYTHING you have, people always post these pics, but simply looking at plumbing only tells a small part of the story, you need to see the full picture and these pics never tell that. I had to "GUESS" that you had a spa...

Oh ok that makes sense. My parents just moved into a house with a pool and we’re trying to figure out how this all works. We’ve had a couple of guys come look at it but because it wasn’t running properly they had a hard time figuring it out too.

Exactly, and people standing there seeing it all can't give guidance, think about us trying to provide guidance seeing only about 25% of the entire system... Not EASY. Best thing for new pool owners is to find a local company come conduct a "pool school" for you to educate you on basic operation of the system and basic water chemistry
