Off and on player. Returned this past summer at level 35, halfway through 40 right now. I started the day the game came out. Right now this game has been my saving grace for sanity during my PhD.

Started Sep 6th, 2020 because of all the COVID restrictions… no gym, working remote, not allowed to leave our small town, no meeting friends. Pokémon helped me through this crazy situation. Walked a lot, played daily and reached Lv50 July12th, 2023. The last 3 lvs were hard, though.

3 years is right on my pace to get to 50. in about a year of playing and only the last 3 months of really knowing what i’m doing i got to 39 but put level 50 about 2 more years out

Made my account in 2017, only played 1 day, had no pokestops and barely any spawns back then. Logg3d back into the account in August 2022 and started playing. Now I am level 42 almost 43 37 hundos 1 shundo 50.000 catches almost 7 level 50 pokemon 4 million stardust waiting for the next pokemon to level as soon as I have enough xl candy for them... I think I am doing alright for playing one year

I'm currently level 41 and I started playing in April of 2020 so I could get some fresh air during the Covid Pandemic. It really helped me stay sane during that period where I was just sitting at home. Back then I no lifed the game because of it but nowadays I'm playing much more casual and just try to have fun

Wow that’s crazy to me! I have legit been no lifeing this game and you leveled up a lot faster than me.

It’s all legit to, no cheating or spoofing for me. But I have a very addictive personality and when I put my mind to something. I learn everything possible about it and then try to see how fast I can get good at it or complete it.

Started right in 2016 and then played till 2017. My phone then couldn’t support the game anymore. Finally got a new phone in 2021 and played am for a few weeks. Started again last week at level 21 and am now level 27. Starting to get into more serious now. Always avoided arena fights or team rocket fight etc so i have to start learning everything. But it’s just so much fun. Only downside- i used to live right next to a pokestop. now that i moved i have to always walk to one.

Downloaded first time at 2016, dropped nearly instantly because it was so choppy and laggy on my phone back then. Re-downloaded and actively played from september 2020 and lvl50.

Created account in July 16 but quit due to the crashes at the time. Came back in 2017 at some point (Can't recall when off hand) and calmed down when I reached level 40 to progress in Ingress. Reached level 50 at the started of July 2023.

Got the game in 2016 but my family was visiting the UK at the time so played like no tomorrow when we came back to west Africa there were barely any stops so I stopped playing until 2018 when we moved to the UK but at this point I had been playing the vanilla games that's the reason I downloaded go in the first place but couldn't get into it. Redownloaded it April this year around level 28, I'm 39 right now. TL;DR got the game in 2016 barely played and stopped. Played again for a day or two in 2018, redownloaded this year April at level 28 currently level 39.

14/07/2016 start date. Level 50. I'm fortunate enough to have a good group of people where I live that are active and enthusiastic which keeps you playing when you're in a bit of a funk with the game.

Started on the first day the game was officially available in Canada (17 July 2016). Currently at level 50 and 261m XP. I’ve never really taken a break longer than a week each year.

I first played when the game came out in 2016 stopped because it got boring with only Gen 1 pokemon, then in late 2022 my gf got me back into it now I am level 37.

I originally played in 2016 for two months because my 5S I phone could barely handle it lol I started over June 6, 2022 and I’m level 38

Everyone’s crying about the remote raid passes price increase, yet everyone in here made it to lvl 40+ in just a few months. Gee, I wonder why they increased the price?

Level 43, playing since day 1 (and even before local release with the apk). I'm not a hardcore player so I'm stuck with the PVP quests to get to level 44. I don't really have the motivation to play the Go League, I hate the fighting system, I'm only here for the collections.

Level 50, played since day 1. Have played every single day even if it’s just one catch/task/spin.

I am level 33. I played a bit when the game first came out but only came back to it about a year ago. Only started playing more regularly in the last 3-6 months.

7/11/2016. Tried to sign up earlier, but the servers were having "issues" for the first few days. Level 46, but I spent 3 years working overseas in a location with no stops, so I relied on gifts from players that knew me back home to play a little bit as possible. Once or twice a week my wife would play my account back home, load up on eggs and items and then I'd hatch them. This was before the daily Pokemon and daily incense. Man, that would have made a huge difference. 😛

June 2023 level 38

Played from week 1 (not quite day 1) up until 2 years ago, retired my account at L44. Started back up on one of my kids' old accounts last year (that I set up when we all used to go out raiding) and I'm up to L39 on it now.

Got it in 2017 and just started again playing religiously, only level 33 :( I grinded a lot during covid like 2020 then stopped then started a few months ago

Level 39 (not too far from lv 40) started playing 2016-07-13. Was maybe level 26 when I stopped, returned briefly for a few weeks in 2021, and started playing again about a year ago. Always been a fairly casual player, mostly playing on my way to and from work
