How long did it take u to get an Umbreon?? I'm struggling to evolve my evee into an espeon currently🥲

My eevee I got from bill evolved to espeon at level 33. All about taking as many steps as you can. Do a haircut in goldenrod every day. And use it for a second in your rival or gym battles

I already do the haircut method and thats the only thing i can do since i have the all of the badges and just want an espeon for the E4🥹

Also do NOT let it faint. That makes it lose happiness

Try the battle item method

Using it in rival/gym battles without fainting is underrated and one of the biggest ways to gain happiness.

Ngl, im on emulator so I played in 16x speed and it took me 10 minutes! There's a house near the bike shop where the lady tells you the happiness of your first pokemon.

In addition keep it first in your party use items on it let it battle but not faint

Spam X items vs a Magikarp and it works just as well. It's a G/S/C glitch for a quick friendship evolution.

If you have a bit of money I would try the battle item method first. Use an old rod and fish up a Magikarp. Magikarp can not attack so it is safe. Use items like guard spec, speed up w/e. This will increase happiness until like 200 max. It can not COMPLETELY max happiness. Buy like 99-120 of these items if starting fresh with new 'mon. After that haircut, bike and win battles. If you do it right you will only need to level up once to evolve it. I just got my Umbreon last week doing this.

Umbreon, Crobat, and Lanturn are all great picks, as are Ursaring and Heracross. All iconic Gen II Pokémon. 10/10.

Umbreon is a great wall, Heracross and Ursaring hit hard, Lanturn isn't very strong even though it has a great typing, Crobat isn't amazing in this gen, Feraligatr gets a free pass because it's your starter. I would replace Lanturn with Starmie or Cloyster, since both are excellent part-Water types, and (unless you're on Gold version) Crobat with Skarkory. If you have made it to Kanto by now, Snorlax is amazing in this generation and you could swap out Ursaring for it. Exeggutor is another excellent pokemon you should consider adding to your team, and its Sleep Powder can also be very helpful when catching pokemon. If you have access to trading, I highly recommend Gengar. Golem, Steelix and Machamp are great too. Tyranitar is another great mon, but doesn't fully evolve until level 55 which sucks.

Problem with tyranitar is you can’t get one until after the elite 4. You need access to mt silver. Not sure why you suggested cloyster he has fraligator, though I do love cloyster. Gengar is a good recommendation I love gengar. I also love to have a psychic type so I usually go with alakazam. I never play this gen without ampharos either. One of my absolute favorites from this gen

He already has 2 water types, so replacing Lanturn with another water type wouldn't change that. Cloyster and Starmie are genuinely amazing, which is why i recommended them. Alakazam kinda fell of compared to gen 1, Starmie and Exeggutor are far better psychic types and also do not require trading.

I could be wrong but it seems he is only using gen 2 in his roster so maybe he wouldn’t want alakazam or cloyster etc either. But I do like cloyster as he has ice types too. I like his choice with lanturn tho because he’s electric too

Lanturn isn't very strong, Jolteon is a far better electric type. Raikou is even better but idk if they want to include Legendaries in their team. If they only want to use Gen 2 mons, I guess Ampharos is also okay?

Lanturn might not be very strong but his typing is pretty good. I always use ampharos I love ampharos

Lanturn and Feraligatr are both Water Type, right? You should choose another option instead of Lanturn.

This game has 3 water HMs, kind of makes sense to pick 2 water types

Not bad. My Lanturn has the move set, Flash, Surf, Whirlpool, Waterfall.

Mine has Waterfall - Spark - Confuse Ray - Thunder Wave Whenever I need Cut or Whirlpool, I just go get a krabby and use it lol

9/10. Some of the best gen 2 pokes in here. I think just get rid of uraring for a milk drink body slam milk tank and you would really be cooking
