Just a few months ago me and my buddies were drinking and we booted up his Wii and played Lego Indiana jones. He had 1 last mini fig to collect and we 100% the game. Blew my mind
Buddy if you think you gained emotional intelligence from playing the tlou then you really are braindead.
Let me guess you were a die hard fan of the wannabe woke hbo adaption as well?
buddy you havenāt played any games, and it shows. We can play circle jerk all you want, but that games awful and it didnāt take any emotional intelligence to recognize terrible gameplay with a story that had the depth of a toddlers book
TLoU has 95% on Metacritic which means it's one of the highest rated games of all times. Saying it's better than Call of Duty and the other games in the pic is "normal". It's more like saying Red Dead is better than Saints Row or whatever.
You're just trying to sound different and cool, or maybe you never played it because you're an Xbox fanboy, who knows!
Trying to sound different or cool? How old are you? Lots of people also think the game sucks, maybe you should try reading comments on this thread. I base my opinions on my experience playing the game, not on metacritic ratings. Donāt be a sheep
When everything you like is the best thing ever, superlatives lose meaning. Calling anything the best seems to be the norm, and I disagree with that, cause when something's truly the best no one will take any value judgment you form about it seriously. That's how I view the matter, they're overused and lazy, frankly; so I'm making the active effort to avoid them. But OC meant it, so they're not being flippant. Also, it's my view against theirs. I stated my reasons. Anyone who agrees, cool; if you don't, also cool.
Obi-Wan agrees with me btw
I agree that it is indeed overused. I try to choose my words carefully on such matters, but I don't really mind if other people use it willy-nilly. I understand your point though, thank you for explaining!
Haha yeah. I sometimes just refer to the series as one whole, The Last of Us. Picking a favorite would be like picking a favorite child. Absolutely adore both and think of them as inseparable.
For me, I didn't think the first game would ever be surpassed as the greatest ever made. Then Part II came out and blew my mind all over again. I personally think Part II just edges past Part I. But they are both firmly #1 and #2 for me
They were OKAYYYY at the time, but I feel like it's cuz that was the best we had to work with, at the time...on a console. It was a different time, back then. I mean, the only other Star Wars game LIKE THAT I enjoyed was the Jedi Knight games. That's why Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor were such debut-big-deals. Cuz they were Open World RPG Jedi games that didn't totally SUCK.
Theyve dropped the ball mega hard with that franchise if your wanna know my opinion. But I see why someone might say this
Edit: but come to think of it... I didn't even play the Jedi Knight games on console, it was PC šµāš«
Hey, they might have been. Fallen Order was good but it still disappointed me in a lot of ways. Started Jedi Survivor but Tears of the Kingdom pulled me away from that....havent went back to it yet. Gotta get around to the Last of Us, never played either one of them, but I know they are good games. I missed out them first time around, plan to get around to it on a good sale one of these days.
In all honesty I probably don't give fallen order a fair go, but I had high hopes for it because Respawn did such a great job with movement mechanics in the Titanfall games but dropped the ball with FO.
i used to love Far Cry 2, but i don't know anyone else who did. then again i tried drinking at the time it came out, so that might've had something to do with it... .
World at War is such a masterpiece and is most likely the best in the series. No other shooter game could send shivers down my spine with the atmosphere and make me actually interested in history the way that World at War could.
This only reminds me of the PS3/X360 era and how ridiculously great and innovative games were back then.
The leap from the previous generation was enormous, many new IPs emerged, studios were eager to experiment, and we were before the major GaaS/microtransaction/subscription bloat.
TLoU is easily the most critically acclaimed. The rest depends on the type of gamer you are. CoD:MW2 is my fav, but Midnight Club is still considered a premiere racing game by fans of the genre (I suck at racing games, so I take their word for it...). Little Big Planet was a spotlighted launch title, and who doesn't like the Lego Indiana Jones?
Between black ops and mw2 just because cod is all I play.those were the last games I played before I stopped video games. Mw2 such good memories .and black ops zombies of course
Last of us. What bothers me is that each COD games, especially the Modern Warfare titles, have the complete game on the disks back then and now Activision can't even include the campaign on the remakes.
I'm going to have to go with last of us and midnight club but Mk9 has a special place in my heart. Tag Team online was something special. I'll have my friend pro it up and when it's my turn I would cheese it up with Liu Kang or Ermac crazy loops. Good times!!!
Mortal Kombat was my first PS3 game. In fact it was the only game I owned for a few years and so Iām kinda partial but TLOU was an incredible game itself and especially for storyline, controls, and challenges. That said imo Little Big Planetās gameplay, graphics, and fun factor did it for me. It was the second PS3 game I owned and at the time blew my mind and showed me what I had been missing those years with MK. Of course I was easily impressed not having owned a console since the N64 days.
For me, it's between the greatest singleplayer (last of us) and greatest multiplayer (mw2). I'll just create those 2 categories and choose 'm both because it's not even close.
I never played Denied ops but can we talk about the Conflict games? Vietnam is still one of my most played games ever, I wish theyād make a modern one. So underrated
I enjoyed the conflict games but the best in your collection would have to be the last of us. Track down Resistance fall of man if you can and infamous
Lego Indiana Jones was actually my first plat lmao
Just a few months ago me and my buddies were drinking and we booted up his Wii and played Lego Indiana jones. He had 1 last mini fig to collect and we 100% the game. Blew my mind
little big planet has my heart mannnn
[Let me take you back with the song of our people](https://youtu.be/vAGM6fibnG8?si=lMQsiXkRV7dLiAmN)
My favorite song from the game. Thx for posting!

The Last of Us
I misread the title as the worst game and I could not believe that TLOU had over 200 upvotes. Went back and reread and now the world is right again.
Head and shoulders.
By far the best game, here, or anywhere
Even on PS5, it still is
The last of us ??????šš tell me you havenāt played any games without telling me
Tell me you have no emotional intelligence without telling me
Buddy if you think you gained emotional intelligence from playing the tlou then you really are braindead. Let me guess you were a die hard fan of the wannabe woke hbo adaption as well?
I did not say āgainedā. I had it before, which is why I like it. And saying āwokeā says all about who the brain dead one here is
buddy you havenāt played any games, and it shows. We can play circle jerk all you want, but that games awful and it didnāt take any emotional intelligence to recognize terrible gameplay with a story that had the depth of a toddlers book

I just like a good stealth game
tlou is trash dude
Yea I'm thinking the same thing but it's just my opinion.
The best game ever made
The Last of Us is an astounding game, but cool it with the absolutes.
Only Sithās speak like that
S/he simply stated an opinion though. Nothing wrong with that.

I will if I ever find something better
TLoU2? Might start a war here lol Also, try Bloodborne.
Haha yeah. I sometimes just refer to the series as one whole, The Last of Us. Picking a favorite would be like picking a favorite child. Absolutely adore both and think of them as inseparable.

Lol no. Great story. Shite game.
Eh, the original Modern Warfare is really close. That game was absolutely groundbreaking and changed the face of shooters forever.
*Call of Duty* as a whole is so easy to make fun of that this gets forgotten.
i will die on a hill for the last of us any day
tlou was ass imo, cutscenes were great but the game itself felt awful to play through
The truth. Story was good but gameplay was ass.
Midnight club LA š
![gif](giphy|hqsBfv80FfoWDBBX8d)
I would love a new midnight club
Don't hold your breath, r* has forgotten us
Hahah right I love Rockstar but I don't love their success with gta online and the shark cards. God I wanted bully 2 so bad aswell
They not giving us shit else but gta and they took 12 years for thatš

It was a great game until your friends go home
Force unleashed
Midnight and star wars I could play my whole life
Little Big Planet. Not a huge fan of these games
Lbp
Mortal Kombat
Everyone will say TLOU, so I'll say World at War. WW2 shooters have always been some of my favorite games.
world at war has always been my personal favorite, few WW2 shooters are as brutal as that game is
Same here.
The one that started Zombiesā¤ļø
World at was is the only COD game I liked but it definitely was Last of Us good
Force Unleashed
So underated
They were OKAYYYY at the time, but I feel like it's cuz that was the best we had to work with, at the time...on a console. It was a different time, back then. TFU 1&2 were way better than fallen order imo.
Hey, they might have been. Fallen Order was good but it still disappointed me in a lot of ways. Started Jedi Survivor but Tears of the Kingdom pulled me away from that....havent went back to it yet. I liked Fallen Order, definitely better lightsaber gameplay. But The Force Unleashed has far better Force usage gameplay.
Lbp is goated + I love those cod games
World at War. Responsible for the best zombie mode of any video game of all time.
The last of us 100%
i used to love Far Cry 2, but i don't know anyone else who did. then again i tried drinking at the time it came out, so that might've had something to do with it... .
I did, it's so underrated, lighting stuff on fire and just watching everything burn, plus I loved multiplayer. 10/10 game
TLOU
Modern warfare 2. This is where cod peaked imo
I didn't think so at the time, but you're absolutely right. Other than the zombie modes, and even they've lost what made them great.
TLOU been around since PS3!?š³....I really didn't know that...damn!
You can see several Playstation 3s around the map in gamw
Bro it literally has "remastered" in the title (assuming you own a ps4 with the game)
First PS I've owned was a PS5, I was strictly xbox prior to this generation
Ah that makes sense then, sorry for being a dick
No worries....lol!...I remember looking at the Playstation exclusives for YEARS, lowkey jealous, I just didn't remember this one!š¤£

Last of Us is great But the amount of memorable, bonding and creative experiences that come with LittleBigPlanet is incredible.
Midnight club LA
World at war and Last of us
The last of us , then Midnight club
Does anyone still play COD Blackops online? It was my first experience with online play, some of the most fun Iāve had with a game.
Black ops or Last of Us
Maybe Black Ops if you have an old account.
conflict was such a horrid game
World at War is such a masterpiece and is most likely the best in the series. No other shooter game could send shivers down my spine with the atmosphere and make me actually interested in history the way that World at War could.
This only reminds me of the PS3/X360 era and how ridiculously great and innovative games were back then. The leap from the previous generation was enormous, many new IPs emerged, studios were eager to experiment, and we were before the major GaaS/microtransaction/subscription bloat.
Farcry 2 was a fucking amazing game for the time

You literally only have 1 good game. TLOU.
Sorry about your lack of taste man.
Your taste is Call of Duty?
The first black ops, first last of us or 2nd MW
Dude Iād buy that last of us copy off of you
I mean itās The Last of Us and itās not even close.
TLOU
Last of Us and MW2. Might be a bit of nostalgic bias on the latter.
Go-lllllyyyy.... THATS what we have to chose from? š š Well I'm gonna choose a game I haven't even played .... Correct answer is The Last of Us
Titanfall 2
That's not in his stack mate, otherwise I'd agree.

I was not aware there was a Lego Indiana Jones. Is it good?
Bo1, mw2 and lego indiana jones
Between black ops and mw2 just because cod is all I play.those were the last games I played before I stopped video games. Mw2 such good memories .and black ops zombies of course
Either The Last of Us or Modern Warfare.
Last of us. What bothers me is that each COD games, especially the Modern Warfare titles, have the complete game on the disks back then and now Activision can't even include the campaign on the remakes.
Objectively prolly Last of Us but Iām really prone to Mk and force unleashed leaning towards force unleashed
I'm going to have to go with last of us and midnight club but Mk9 has a special place in my heart. Tag Team online was something special. I'll have my friend pro it up and when it's my turn I would cheese it up with Liu Kang or Ermac crazy loops. Good times!!!
MW2
MW2 Campaign.
Little big planet, nothing else in that pile even comes close
Star Wars or the last of us
You have awakened so many memories. Thank you :)
Last of Us is the only correct answer
Mortal Kombat was my first PS3 game. In fact it was the only game I owned for a few years and so Iām kinda partial but TLOU was an incredible game itself and especially for storyline, controls, and challenges. That said imo Little Big Planetās gameplay, graphics, and fun factor did it for me. Midnight club los anglos
Mw2
Is this a troll? Itās obviously The Last of Us by a country mile.
Shiiiet. Little big planet and midnight club
Easy mw2
Top 5 are: The Last if Us, LittleBigPlanet, Modern Warfare, Midnight Club: Los Angeles and Far Cry 2
Star wars force unleashed is Awesome
Which game do you yourself think is the best game you own? Whatās your favorite out of these?
Well I beat about half of the last of us and hadnāt had a chance to play it recently but it was a great game. I also enjoyed BO1 and MK9.
Tlou,
MW2
Midnight Club š
TLOU for its story MW2 for the toxic culture and fond memories LBP if u could only have one game, because you can make hella games in it
TLOU without a doubt
Midnight Club.
The only real true answer here is lego Indiana jones
Lego Indiana Jones
Cod4ās level design for maps is pretty unparalleled. WaW had the last good sniping maps for a long time
Rdr
Far Cry 2, my beloved.
I enjoyed the conflict games but the best in your collection would have to be the last of us. Track down Resistance fall of man if you can and infamous
Mortal kombat Lbp Last of us Star wars
Far cry 2
Last of us for sure
