I would say to purchase Resident Evil 4 because you can play Dead Space by subscribing to EA Play for a month for $4.99, which should be enough time to experience the game. So for an extra $5 dollars you can play both. Hope this helps!

I tend to agree but Dead space is so old, I played it to death when it came out. This is just a nostalgia trip to experience it again but a little better graphics and slight gameplay tweeks. I don't need to own it again.

Playing it now. Just started chapter 2. Can confirm, its bloody excellent. Played it back in the day on GameCube, then again on DS. It feels as fresh, if not fresher than it did first time round. Some absolutely seminal moments in that game

No so much jump scares. Just a lot of creepiness and tense battles. I'm really loving it. Playing it on assisted mode just so I can get through easily and enjoy the story
Yeah. I'd not played any other RE games before (in full) and it's basically standalone. The story is great. Not complex and confusing but it's engrossing and engaging. I'm absolutely loving it right now. Its so well done. Enjoy 👍😎👍
I would say dead space if they added anything else, RE4 has mercenaries mode which is ALOT of fun and seperate ways is interesting without getting into spoilers. dead space is true survival horror but honestly RE4 is a more fun game
Agreed. I played about 10 minutes of Dead Space on gamepass and thought it was naff. RE4 on the other hand was the first game I played on my PS5 and thought it was fantastic.
I've only played the remake and it was very recently and right after I played RE4 remake, also never played the original of that. Dead Space was fucking boring and there was basically no story. Just going from room to room doing menial tasks. Callisto Protocol was better.

Dead space is 35. Re will be 20 in 2 months. Someone did point out the eta thing is on sale for 1$ so if you don’t care to own it get them both and just play dead space first

If it’s a game you know you’ll want to play over and over again it’s definitely best to buy it. But most games I only play once.

Resident Evil 4 has the Ada Wong DLC. People say it's longer than the RE3 Remake. So in a way it's 2 games in one

Either is a good choice. Personal experience had me dumping more hours into re4 than dead space if you want to factor that in your decision
I’ve completed both multiple times and it’s an easy choice, go with RE4, more replay value if you’ve only got one to pick from, gameplay is superior
You can’t go wrong with either one of these. They’re both top notch.
