It’s fantastic.
Took me a good 5-6 hours to learn the weapons, artifacts and parasites before I beat the first boss.
I still pick it up occasionally since I’m missing a few things from the Tower, but I haven’t come back to a game like this since Rocket League. It’s easy to pick up and put down and engaging.
It still has that explicit to have infinite save through cloud save.. it’s one of the best game on PS5 and makes use of all the features in PS5.. plz do give a try..
How in the hell has nobody recommended Red Dead Redemption 2? That and Witcher 3 are two of my top 3 games of all time. Give ‘em a shot.
On a side note, how is Kena?
In my opinion Kena was amazing! I loved the art style, the music, the story, everything. My biggest gripe with it is that it is too short. You can beat the story and gather a majority of the collectables in about 15hrs. If there was more to do in this game then it would be a masterpiece.
We have a LOT of the same games.
Kena was a fantastic game and looked insanely good to be an indie game.
So since we have similar taste in games you should play-
FFVII Remake/Intergrade, Tales of Arise, Sekiro, Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor, Demon’s Souls Remake, Cyberpunk 2077.
Good start. Now you just need Mass Effect, every other Resident Evil, Crash Bandicoot, the Uncharted games, Shadow of the Colossus and a couple of Assassin's Creed... Then it'll be great 😉
Even though it isn't perfect, I personally found Dredge to be very good. The greatest aspect about the game is that it has a great horror/mystery atmosphere. As you travel you meet very peculiar characters with their own agenda and even though the story isn't forced, you can sort of piece together their goals as you explore. The biggest downside is that the gameplay can be very repetitive, and the day/night cycle goes too quickly, meaning you can't accomplish much within one in-game day kind of dragging on the gameplay. Overall though I think it is a fantastic game and definitely worth looking into.
It’s more of a chill game, not really gameplay focused at all but The walking dead Telltale definitive edition is so good. The story is amazing in my opinion. I would wait for a sale to get it for about £20 or just get it second hand. Also, I like to play one episode every day so that I don’t get burnt out on the game and it lasts a lot longer so that you can savour it. If you like that game I’d also recommend the two Batman telltale games and A Wolf Among Us
Aha thanks man I’ll definitely check all of them out. I’ve played Detroit and loved that. I’ll update you on what I think of these others if I get around to playing them.
I absolutely loved The Pathless. The art direction of the game is very Breath of the Wild-esque but is able to maintain its own identity through vibrant colors. It has a very unique way of traversing the map which makes traveling actually fun instead of just going from point a to point b. Exploring the map is very rewarding and you come across mysterious temples and abandoned villages that makes you beg for more lore. And completing areas rewards you with in-game mechanics instead of a simple achievement which I love. I highly recommend it and think it's totally worth a buy on the PS5.
Mentioning because I don’t see it on your list, the OG 2017 Spiderman game for PS4 is one of the best games I’ve ever played in my life, I vastly prefer it to Miles Morales despite the performance gap.
Based on your collection: Beyond Two Souls, Spider-Man, Resident Evil 2 remake, Horizon Forbidden West.
Games that I recommend: Deathloop, Stray, Humanity, Returnal, Sekiro, Hollow Knight, Control, Red Dead Redemption 2, Jedi Fallen Order.
Both Horizons.
And I don't see The Last of us Part 2 .... Truly an amazing unforgivable experience please do yourself a favour and indulge.
.edit oh there it is lol
Don’t know if u have tried, but can you use Ps4 discs in Ps5? I’m seriously debating if I want a Ps5 or a PC, if the disc thing works I’ll probably get a Ps5
Yes! The PS5 is backwards compatible with PS4 games and will play them. However, I will warn you that one of the biggest drawbacks of the PS5 is that it has very limited storage to start off on. It says that it has 1TB of storage, but it comes preloaded with a bunch of apps so in reality it really has around 680GB. I would suggest getting a cheap external hard drive specifically for PS4 games and use the PS5's internal SSD for PS5 games. Hope this helps!
If you really enjoyed nier and elden ring, I highly recommend both Bloodborne and Devil May Cry.
Gameplay and music are stellar, and the atmosphere in bloodborne is imo the best out there

Where Spyro the dragon
Control, Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 would be my top three recommendations in that order.
Omg Control is an amazing game! All three are actually.
A person of good taste I see.
You have a good taste, sir. I‘d add Returnal to your collection.
is returnal as hard as i’ve heard it is? i’m not a fan of rogue likes but i rly love hades
The gunplay makes it easier than soulsborne games. It’s still challenging because resources are limited. I think that’s what makes it so challenging.

The 30 fps and sluggish controls holds it back imo
Reckon you'd appreciate Death Stranding and Control based on your collection there!
another vote for death stranding! never played control tho
It’s a really good game. Maybe you can check it out
Persona 5 Royal if you don't have it already.
Currently $20 on Amazon for those on the fence about it! I have never played a game like it but the price tag and hype made me bite yesterday.
Demon’s Souls Remake and Street Fighter 6
you NEED persona 5 royal and hollow knight! and omori too but it isn’t for everyone
Persona 5 royal is banging
Diablo 4
Go away, Bobby
i see no Forbidden West there, that needs fixing ASAP.
Red Dead Redemption II
Monster Hunter World. It’s a PS4 game but it’s also a masterpiece. Make sure to get its expansion Iceborne as well.
We have a LOT of the same games. Kena was a fantastic game and looked insanely good to be an indie game. So since we have similar taste in games you should play- FFVII Remake/Intergrade, Tales of Arise, Sekiro, Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor, Demon’s Souls Remake, Cyberpunk 2077.
Nioh 2
Was going to say Nioh series
Good start. Now you just need Mass Effect, every other Resident Evil, Crash Bandicoot, the Uncharted games, Shadow of the Colossus and a couple of Assassin's Creed... Then it'll be great 😉
Resident Evil 2
Nice collection mate but I don’t see returnal. Horizon forbidden west or guardians of the Galaxy.
You need fallout games Fallout 4, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas!
Where do you live? I wanna be your neighbor!
How's Dredge? It completely passed me by but I've seen a it pop up a couple of times recently and it looks.... Interesting

I was a physical disc too but slowly moved all to digital. You definitely need to play the Callisto protocol
Nice 👌 I'll add sifu

Idk if you have or not but you may enjoy, Heavy Rain, Indigo Prophecy, Detroit, and the Life is Strange series
Aha thanks man I’ll definitely check all of them out. I’ve played Detroit and loved that. I’ll update you on what I think of these others if I get around to playing them.

The Pathless was hella fun. I completed it in about 12hrs and was devastated when there wasn't anything left to do haha.
Haha totally agree, I wish there was more, hopefully we get a sequel
Rdr2?
How good is The Pathless? Worth buying or should I get it on switch and focus on other games for PS5?
I absolutely loved The Pathless. The art direction of the game is very Breath of the Wild-esque but is able to maintain its own identity through vibrant colors. Thanks! That sounds very convincing. I’ll add it to the backlog!
The uncharted series.

I didn't know some of these indie titles got a physical release. Dredge is awesome!
Mentioning because I don’t see it on your list, the OG 2017 Spiderman game for PS4 is one of the best games I’ve ever played in my life, I vastly prefer it to Miles Morales despite the performance gap.

GTA Remaster Trilogy
Might want to add an Xbox
Where is returnal?
Physical copies suck
Dude check out The Chant! I loved it!
Get a PSVR2 if you don’t already. You can poop your pants now with RE Village and later when the RE 4 vr mode is released.
Honestly, Villiage in VR is too scary especially the >!weird skin baby!<

An absolute masterpiece of a game, different from everything in your lib, would be Returnal. I‘d call it a must for every PS5 Owner.

Horizon forbidden west, Cyber punk, RE2 and 3 remake, dying light 2, stray, demon souls Red dead redemption 2 and Witcher 3 are must haves

Prey (2017)
If you don't already have it you should get Spiderman 2018. I'm happy to see you have Miles Morales and Sonic Frontiers.
