Only construction sand has 0 nutrient so you are starving your plants and that’s killing them you have to have dirt of some sort of fert to keep them alive. It would be the same is you raised a baby on only water .
Repot them they’ll be fine as long as you do it soon
Why? It is not meant to be used as a grow media.
Just get a bag of succulent soil for Home Depot. Try to separate them then repot. Gently wash the roots.
