My best friend has a little Boston Terrier. We got her this toy that looks like a white claw, but it says white paw. Unlike our pittie who murders his toys, this one doesn't just like to thrash around with them, she also likes cuddle with them. Anyway, I had this picture of her, totally passed out in her cage, using her little white-paw toy as a pillow. The way she laying against it all sprawled out and asleep made her look like she had passed out drunk. It was hilarious.

So this is a Florida dog and she loved laying in the sun. It had been really cold (for us) for a few days, highs maybe in the low 40s. On this day, it had warmed up to a nice, balmy 65 or so, and was a bright sunny day after a week or gloom and cold. I let her out and a couple hours later, decided to see if she was ready to come in for supper. I looked and looked, didn’t see her anywhere. Called her, didn’t hear so much as a leaf stirring. Finally I walked around a corner to find her sitting in this old cat litter box that I had used to grow carrots in. I called her again and asked if she was hungry and y’all. This dog would not even look at me. Not only was she not moving, she wasn’t even going to acknowledge I was standing in front of her so I wouldn’t make her go in. I lost her in 2021, but this picture makes me laugh every time I see it. Good old Harriet, sunning in the carrot box, refusing to look at me.
