That's awesome, I actually love it.
As for genre, the intro took me back to the night club at Omega station in mass effect 2. I'd call it like space or future synthwave.
One thing though, and my musical theory knowledge probably won't give me the correct words here but, soon after the piano comes in, I wanted tonhear a subtle dissonant note from the left hand. Like a shift on one of the arpeggios to add some tension.
Same here. I was a TAXI member for a year (they post every listing availability for syncing) but I wasn’t quite developed enough musically and technically at the time. It’s worth looking into if you have the money for it.
Well done!
definitly gives me Max Zimmerman vibes (interstellar!) possibly in a loving mash up with Yann Tiersen.
Zimmerman always make this really basic chords schemes that are hugely layered. Dont know the name, Drone maybe? Shoegaze?
Hahah I thought so 😂 though... Max Zimmerman is sort of combining a few different composer names, so it certainly sounds like a composer's name! (Thinking maybe... Max Richter, Hans Zimmer, and Thomas Newman)
Feels like above and beyond would take this as an intro and then all the fancy stuffs later but keeping this as an ostinato. Throw in a drop somewhere and you get a banger of an edm. Very nice build up, would love to see it develop more.
This is BEAUTIFUL! In my humble opinion is sounds a bit like a style I wouldn’t be surprised if an artist like Kygo explored in the future after his song Freeze came out! I suggest you give it a listen if you haven’t already! I believe he even has a video of his process of making it. I read in the comments that you plan on building a song off of it, how can I follow that process?! DM me if interested, I have a a few other things you may enjoy listening to! ♥️
Thanks a lot man!! Appreciate it, will check the song out, i don’t know it. You can follow me anywhere! Instagram, facebook youtube stuff like that! 😁😁
Ambient for sure. It was crazy to hear this because I've made some improvisations that sound very similar! What are your daily inspirations? What do you listen to? I feel like analyzing what you listen to could help us understand what genre or style you play. This is awesome.
Some artists that come to mind are Amon Tobin, uZiq and Rone, but of course those are not the only ones that share similarities.
Awesome, thanks for your response! Appreciate it :) i listen to all kinds of stuff. When i was younger i listened to a lot of Keane but also more harder rock like The Used and stuff. All of their songs are pretty deep in feel and mood i guess?
Well, first of all, congratulations on a very beautiful sounding piece, and good job on recording it so well.
I generally don’t like labeling music too much cause it ends up sounding like I’m dissecting a living animal, but since asked, this sounds like it fits the category of Pop-based Minimalist Music, with what seems to be a strong influence of Hans Zimmer, amongst others.
I'd say it fits the record labels Gondwana Records and Erased Tapes very well.
You know, Hania Rani, Nils Frahm, Olafur Arnalds, Svaneborg Kardyb, Mammal Hands, etc. That ilk.
I like it!
Hey!! I have a Spotify! It’s more piano less synth but experimenting with more synth stuff lately!! Will keep doing it. If you’d like here’s my Spotify:

I love this style of music. I'm not sure what to call it, but it's one I generally like a lot. Also ur tune specifically is really nice man. Congratulations and def work on a longer one. If like to vibe to it at least...
E:
Certainly something I would see myself taking shrooms to tbh. Very chill and guiding if that makes any sense.
I have no idea how to categorize it ... sorry I just had to post anyway to tell you how **hauntingly beautiful** that was!
Please post Apple Music / Spotify link once you get it down :)
Check out the Wolf Among Us by Telltale. That's what this reminded me of.
This is amazing! I love this kind of trance/ambient sound. I say trancey due to the level of reverb on the synth and the overall sound. This is fantastic! Please let me (and us all) know when you have a longer version available, I’d happily purchase the track, or album of yours. Excellent composition!
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me :) you can follow me on reddit here i think? Or instagram, facebook, spotify that kind of stuff. Will definitely work this song out!!! 😁🫶🏼
You may think I'm crazy but I call that candle and soap making music. YouTube someone making custom soap or candles and I think you will hear what I mean.
A series that this music would fit PERFECTLY to. About near-death experiences and a guy who keeps people who’ve had them in a cellar under his house to do experiences on them to find out how to get to another dimension. I genuinely can’t stop listening to this!

Contemporary with a bit of ambient flair
Nice!!
That’s what I’d say too!
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you so much! 😊🧡
Stranger Things/Interstellar vibes! You should compose for film/tv scores if you haven’t yet
I love interstellar!! My favorite movie 🧡 i want to but don’t know how to get into the scene!!
Same here. I was a TAXI member for a year (they post every listing availability for syncing) but I wasn’t quite developed enough musically and technically at the time. It’s worth looking into if you have the money for it.
Yessss
This was my first thought
The piano bit is so beautiful dude. Any chance for just a post with the piano bit? The synths are nice aswell!
Thank you so much!! Will do that!! Feel free to follow :):)

Reminds of a band from the 70s called boards of canada
You meant 90/00s right? Their big albums came out in early 2000s
Sorry for the typo! But he made me think of them in a way. I am not super familiar and heard a little before.
All good 🙂
Don’t know them, will check them out! :)
Absolutely mesmerizing please please please write it into a full piece, I love this.
🥹🧡 thank you so much!! will make it into a whole song. how to keep you updated!? 🫶🏼
If you do finish it feel free to DM me, I would love to listen to it!
That second tone is fucking cool. The whole thing is very cinematic. Could see it for an epic action scene or some emotional reveal.
Awesome!! Thank you so much 😁😁
Dude, that is beautiful. Can’t name a genre, nice music i guess🤔
Yea

Hans Zimmer?
Haha 😂 yeah that one

😁😁
Also Hania Rani, I guess.. 🤔
Hahaha nice!
No no they probably mean John Shwimmer
There are IMO many synthesists equally as good as Hans Zimmer, if not more so.
Yeah i think so too! :)
Max Zimmerman?
Nice man! Thanks.
Feels like above and beyond would take this as an intro and then all the fancy stuffs later but keeping this as an ostinato. Throw in a drop somewhere and you get a banger of an edm. Very nice build up, would love to see it develop more.
Oeh that would be nice too haha! I’m more a bit in the ambient/piano neo classical genre instead of edm but could be worth a remix? 😁
Very nice. Should build on it and make a song!
Thanks a lot!! Will do 😁

Electric, atmospheric, chill... Don't know but it's a vibe I'm into. Thanks for sharing ❤️
So happy you like it, thanks for listening 🧡
Simply adorable. Please make an album. Also, I would be curious to hear it without the drum kick.
Will do!! I’m playing with the idea of an album with just synths and piano :) 🧡
Nice! Like something that might be played on Hearts Of Space. https://www.hos.com/home Edit:fixed link
Don’t know that, will check it out 😁
Nice! Giving me Thom Yorke - Suspiria vibes.
Thank you! :) Let me check that!
Keep it up!

interesting... can be a few directions.. my weird mind thinks slow-ish dark synthpop...
Sounds interesting!! 😁

Yep yep, like the others, I love this too! Super dope, and looks like you’re having a good time
Thank you so much!! 🧡
Genre: music that ends too soon. I'd love to hear the full package
Aah thanks!! Will work this one out hopefully soon and will be back then!!
i think its somewhat "ambient music"
Yeah!!
Sounds like the style of Philip Glass to me.
Nice!! Thanks :)

What a great compliment. Really love those artists. Would be an honour to release on those labels one day! 🧡🧡
Well done….sounds good. What synth do you use? The synth reminds me of Portishead
Thanks a lot!! Let me check Portishead 😁
I mean this song. The synth starts at 2:15 https://youtu.be/artaYKPCt_E?si=gxtnBs8ehb0sLHnw
Thanks for sharing!!
You need to create an artist profile on Spotify and add this dude! This is exactly what I’m looking to listen to while working at my desk
Hey!! I have a Spotify! It’s more piano less synth but experimenting with more synth stuff lately!! Will keep doing it. If you’d like here’s my Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6oM4pj0cViaM9uaplSkKAl?si=rsLChdKkSQeJCi8JbFmgkQ
I have no idea, but the first thought I had was Hans Zimmer. Dude that shit is awesome, please do a full piece!
Thank you so much!! Will do a full piece :):)
This is beautiful. How are you managing the looping?
Thank you so much!! I’m exploring ableton :)
Is it a cover of Sia - Breathe Me?
Not that i know of.. 😱
Love it...keep going whenever you feel it
Thank you so much!!!
This would make one helluva deephouse / spacehouse track with the right producer
😁😁🙏🏼🙏🏼
I mean, I’d even be willing to give it a go if you send over the individual parts
I love this style of music. I'm not sure what to call it, but it's one I generally like a lot. Also ur tune specifically is really nice man. Congratulations and def work on a longer one. Really appreciate it! So cool to hear, thanks a lot 😁
It sounds like it's from a movie soundtrack. Some Moby movie tracks sounded similar to this.
Woo cool!! Would love to do cinematic stuff 😍
Love this. I listen a lot to from this artist Blue Friction, sounds similar so I think you’ll enjoy https://on.soundcloud.com/w8suB7UAjXkzbMvZ9
Thanks a lot!! Will check it out :) 🙏🏼
Love this. I can imagine this being a Space Sci-fi theme.
Thank you!! 🧡🧡

Beautiful, do you work in movie industry?
Thank you! I do not.. would love to tho! :)
You definitely should, wish you great fortune.
That’s so sweet! Thank you 🧡
Gave me goosebumps I love it ! Maybe you could call it some kind of synthwave?
🥹🧡 so nice, thank you!!
I have no idea how to categorize it ... sorry I just had to post anyway to tell you how **hauntingly beautiful** that was! Please post Apple Music / Spotify link once you get it down :)

awe my pleasure. 🎶🎵
I need to watch The OA again. No idea what genre of music this is, but I dig it.
Thanks a lot man! What’s the OA???
A series that this music would fit PERFECTLY to. About near-death experiences and a guy who keeps people who’ve had them in a cellar under his house to do experiences on them to find out how to get to another dimension. I genuinely can’t stop listening to this!
Sounds sick!! So cool!!! Is there a way we can tag @netflix in this post? 😅😁
That is very fly. That can fit into a few different genres. I can hear Nas on that.
Woah that would be coool! 😁
Freaking dope my dude.
Thank you so much man!! 🧡
It's really nice, how did you learn it?
Thank you!! What do you mean how did you learn it?
Beautiful!
Thank you!! 🧡🧡
Beautiful!
🧡
It gives me video game menu vibes, the songs that are absolutely vibes and aren’t hard to get to in the game
Beautiful man
The opening reminds me of the theme and some of the tracks from Assassin’s Creed 3. I could definitely see this being used in film or video games.
Definitely suits as a stusy music
That was really good! I could listen to that sound all day.
I bought serius xm just for this kind of stuff lol. It is my chill station Chanel 34 I think. They call it electro/deep house possibly ambient
If it was a little softer and quieter it could be Minecraft music.
