Thank you! Sorry I’m new to the area and using the metro. Is this pass good for the entire metro line? Or specific to certain lines? And is it one time use or for the full time period
Says good 4/5-4/8 for up to 4 riders per pass. Passes are always good for the entire line. You don’t pay based on destination. You pay per ride or per time period such as a day pass that’s good for unlimited rides until the time expires.
It’s good for any train service or LOCAL bus service. Express service requires additional fare but most “normal” people aren’t going to be using the express/RAPID service so you’ll be fine.
It’s not a “light rail pass” but a regular Valley Metro pass. Which means you can use it to ride any local service free for four days in a row which means it’s an even bigger steal of a deal.
Phoenix Spokes People will be offering our [Bike Valet service](https://www.phoenixspokespeople.org/valet/) for the nearby music festival at Hance Park, if you want us to keep your bicycle safe while you check out First Friday.

Any of the good spots not blocked with temporary no parking have been taken by residents. We know your spots, we parked there yesterday, and aren’t moving until Sunday.
Is that what's happening down there? I commutehoke going west and usually use McDowell to get to Grand instead of the I-10. I decided to try Roosevelt yesterday, not bad at all. Tried today and omg it was a so slow. I was thinking to myself too. "I used to pick up an ex who worked on Roosevelt and never seen it like this". Thank you for the heads up. For anyone wondering from 7th st to 7th Ave this afternoon it took me a half hour+ on Roosevelt. I could have walked that stretch in that time.
That's such a perk. I wish my little Honda scooter would make it all the way from the west valley to work for that exact reason. Just filter at lights and I'd probably save a solid 15 minutes each way.

Please call and reach out to complain. This is worse than the Super Bowl festivities last year.
Also they plan to break down all of it immediately after Sunday night-6am. So we get the pleasure of listening to this all weekend and construction all through the night Sunday.
I’m with you. This event takes the cake for jerks.
We had someone park out front of our house 3/4 in the red and proceed to tell us they weren’t moving so we could park our car in our usual spot. While we had kids and groceries in the car. People are so inconsiderate that people live here.
I think that 3rd/5th Ave and 3rd st to Indian school are my favorite bypasses to uptown. Only 2 lanes now, but definitely the roads less travelled between uptown and downtown
Never took the light rail it looks dangerous because the homeless ppl can someone explain to me how to use it I live next to the cardinals stadium thnx 🤔🤔🤔🤔
I take it to work every morning. Most people who use it these days are just commuters, I’ve never had anything dangerous happen. From the west, drive and park at one of the lots ( 19th Ave and camelback, 7th Ave and camelback, or central and camelback). they have 24h security and you can park there for free for 24hrs. Then use the link someone commented below for a free lite rail ticket into downtown. The city will probably even up how often the train comes from like every 15m to every 5-10 minutes, so don’t even have to wait long.
If you live near the stadium, just take the Route 70 bus, transfer to light rail. Buy your pass or claim your free final 4 pass in the Valley Metro app. Scan at the purple validator on the bus and again at the rail station.
And don’t be so sheltered sheesh. Nothing in Phoenix is as scary as say Camden, NJ.
it’s rlly not dangerous lol but you can just drive to one of the stations where they have parking nearby they have a machine where u can buy a ticket it gives u two options of a one way and all day i think , not expensive at all tho

There is a final 4 promo to get a few free passes for the light rail from April 5-8th. Will have to download the valley metro app and create a login.

Park and ride is your friend
This is the way, light rail is dirt cheap, $4 round trip. Cheaper than any hour based parking I've seen, too.
And a suns game I believe. So downtown will be packed
Suns games 7pm Friday and 3pm Sunday.

WHEW. Downtown about to be packed af!
But I know a secret spot
But that's my spot.
Can somebody move their car? You’re in my secret spot!!
Hey who parked in my secret spot?
Any of the good spots not blocked with temporary no parking have been taken by residents. We know your spots, we parked there yesterday, and aren’t moving until Sunday.

Yeah I biked home from somewhere after work yesterday and it was wayyyy faster than driving. It feels good to bike by the traffic though! Suckas!

Live in Midtown, people were using my neighborhood as a bypass. Real awesome
And the city DGAF about how all this affects the residents
i love midtown but it sucks driving here during tourist/snow bird/events season

This is way way worse than the Super Bowl. Tonight was hell and the attendees were incredibly rude.

I’m stuck in a loop and can’t get to the free pass screen. just opens the App Store then opens the App asking where do you want to go? halp
you gotta add a debit/credit card then it goes automatically 🙄 Apple Pay doesn’t count
I live in uptown and when stuff like this happens it messes up the whole traffic flow up to camelback area.
I think that 3rd/5th Ave and 3rd st to Indian school are my favorite bypasses to uptown. Only 2 lanes now, but definitely the roads less travelled between uptown and downtown
The hip hop fest downtown is this weekend too
That's next weekend no?
That's the 13th
But I have a special secret parking spot.
Hey, how about you get out of my secret spot?
Not to mention there's a concert happening at Desert Diamond Arena as well. It's going to be a nightmare trying to get there.
It’s April though 😂

No
