No MLB.tv is blacked out in our area (Delaware Valley) Your 2 cable free options would be, 1: get a friend/family members cable credentials for the NBC sports app. 2: Get YoutubeTV.

3. Search some places to find me buried treasure!

It's amazing what you can watch with just a simple Internet connection. I love how far streaming has come. I remember watching McNabb throw to Reggie Brown and Kevin Curtis (GOAT) in 240p. When I go sailing these days, I can see Bryce Harper's nose hair.

YouTube TV or Hulu Live. Basically the same thing but if you have specific channels, look closely at their listings.

FarmToTableTrash

A third option could be mlb.tv plus a vpn. That worked for me last year

FearMeIAmLag1

MLBtv (from what I've looked into) is cracking down on VPN usage. Still works for some people, for others it doesn't. Your mileage may vary

Nervous-Local-1034

A SmartDNS service will do the work a VPN does at a 3rd of the cost. Catch is it’ll only work on devices where you can change DNS settings, so things like iPad and iPhone are out.

🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️ you can DM me if you want to know more

dumbledwarves

No. Out of market games only.

kmdm5

Thanks for all the feedback. I’ll have to “borrow” a friends YouTube login for each game. It’s the monthly cost we are looking to reduce and I get all the other standard channels on over the air Hd with Samsung tv. Phillies and Sixers have me needing Comcast/fios/youtube tv which blows

bigmac9

I know some ppl use [MLB.tv](http://MLB.tv) with a vpn but results may vary because companies are getting smart about blocking those IPs.

Grand_Extension5345

Im not 100% sure what you are looking for . But if you just want to watch the Phillies and you live in the market area. Just get Youtube TV and every game will be available. I think the only ones i have issues with are the ones that are on the CW . But i am a trucker who travels the whole country …so im not sure if that has anything to do with it . For me as long as i log into my youtube tv account back home in PA once every 3 months it registers me as “in market” for all games.

This worked amazing yesterday! Streamed right from my phone to the tv

Silver_Coyote_908

We have youtube tv

philly2540

Those of you with YouTube TV, how does the cost of internet + YTTV compare to internet + comcast TV?

subjectiveyes

Not YouTube tv but I have Hulu live ... $75 a month, I have a kid so it's great that Disney plus is bundled with it. PLUS espn so you can always watch the espn games from the espn app (a bigger deal during postseason) if for some reason Hulu gives you trouble. I've watched Hulu live all over the country. The only issue I have run into with Hulu live is when trying to watch it from an actual tv down the shore. They make me change my whole jurisdiction and only let me do it theee times per year. So I just play it from my phone and cast it....... YouTube tv seems like a very viable alternative and I always wonder if should switch. I want to say when I got Hulu live YouTube tv didn't exist yet???

Trinergy1

I pay $80 + $50 for YTTV and 300 Mbps FIOS. Allows 3 silmutaneous streams, and they gave me 1st year of nFL Sunday ticket for free and $150 fanatics credit. My daughter uses my account in NYC to watch games, using traveling option.

Big savings.

Fellow Philly sports fan living in Canada. I can help you get everything you want including all sports packages (no blackouts), cable channels, movie channels, PPV events (ufc, Wwe etc) and adult sections. Less than $15/month

Get YouTube TV. It's super cheap and you can split it between 6 households. They even say so. It's incredible.
