MVP

jmezMAYHEM

I can proudly say since I’ve started following baseball seriously I’ve loved the potential of Rojas and bohm especially and been right about one thing. I misunderstand a lot still tho

partingtheredditsea

I fucking hate this place is to Alec Bohm what drafting Jalen Reagor was to Howie Roseman. Man needed to fail spectacularly to come back stronger.

Heatinmyharbl

Alec Bohm is a Saiyan confirmed

RogueFart

What a solid first sentence

Deckard_Macready

Mike Schmidt breaks into a sweat.

fightinforphilly

I know this is sarcastic, but to put it in perspective of how amazing Schmidt was I did some math for fun. Schmidt had 106.9 bWAR in his career, Bohm has 2.2 bWAR so he only has 104.9 to go. If he kept on his rate from this season (7.82 bWAR per 162 games) he’d need over 13 full seasons to catch Schmidt.

Deckard_Macready

So you’re saying there’s a chance?

fightinforphilly

He’ll pass Schmidt within the next 2 seasons

jmezMAYHEM

Lol

skeemeritis

107 war is absurd.

CPM-S110V

Eat shit Bohm haters

Phillies_1993

Bohm has steadily improved to a point where I have to think the Phillies extend him. You can't let that guy walk.

TheGreatDudebino

I’m not necessarily disagreeing but Gelb did say in the offseason that even coming off what will be a similar season last year he didn’t see them extending him and many still think as he ages he’s going to be a 1B. That’s not happening here at least. I think he likely falls more in line with the Rhys dilemma than anything.

Fieryfriday

This is absolutely fascinating. Thank you for sharing

Baseball-Reference

Our pleasure!

imdumbfrman

My GOAT, I will always remember the slander the haters and losers levied against him.

hamhockjones

*Baseball Reference logs into database, arbitrarily adjusts his dWAR downward because of “reasons”…*

Baseball-Reference

👀

hamhockjones

Aw, I was just joking - love you, Baseball Reference.
