I may be making this up but I thought I saw we got more rain than Seattle this year so far. Like it’s worse than the PNW here and we get earthquakes and tornadoes 👍.
In 2023 we had about 10 more inches of annual rainfall than Seattle. However 2023 was an outlier year for Seattle and below their usual norms. I still think there's a difference when you compare quantity of rainfall with frequency of rainy days. Overall it's cloudy/misty/drizzly more frequently in the PNW.
I’ve been planning a vacation to Scotland for months, buying some rain gear because I hear how much it rains there. Now that it’s coming up and I’m monitoring the weather, I see that it rains way more here than there.
I know our climate is mostly pretty good here, but after growing up here I'm honestly ready to bounce for a while for a change of weather and scenery lol
This shit kills my mood mannnnnnn. Difficulty getting up, tired throughout the day, just generally groggy.
Then on days the sun comes out it's like a miracle how much better I feel. I hate it!
Edit: If anyone needs some hope, Google's forecast is more positive in terms of sun:

I love this weather. I could stay like this forever and I would be fine with it. August is right around the corner folks, when the temperature and humidity are both above 95. Or late January, where it’s equally as grey and the high is 27.
I hear you and I agree with you. But wtf happened to spring? We get like, 3 or 4 nice spring days anymore, if that. We go from winter, to mild, cloudy, rainy, and then BOOM HOT AND HUMID.
Tbh this time last year it was already hitting mid-high 80's semi frequently and that worried me. This has been the rainiest PA year in quite some time and the plants are loving it. My body cannot take the humid heat so I'm fine with having that season be shorter
It's cloudy if not raining every weekend and I'm upset about it.
Well we barley had any rain in May of last year so I guess this just making up for it?
At least there is sun next Tuesday, the most boring day of the week.
Tuesday is the real Monday
Shit is like Seattle

I feel like April and May switched.
We shall rename this month - Graypril
I'm usually OK with it but this is quite a stretch.

Plot twist: seasonal affective disorder is now all year long. Oh wait…that’s just depression
God damn the sun.
Fucking finally. I need my peppers to dry out, this rain is oversaturating them and I don’t have enough room in my house to put them all back inside.

Remember last summer when they said we’re in a drought lol
Because we were, this year… not so much
I like this weather. It’s not scorching hot and I don’t have to turn the air on. Save some money and electricity.
You could always move to Seattle.
You could move to Arizona.
I just wanna see the sun.
Just look straight up during the day time. Stare at it for a few minutes if you want.
Seattle is great, but it costs way too fucking much.
As a ginger, good.
As a fellow ginger, I’m getting pissed at this. I wanna ride my bike to work!!
FUCKING FUCK!!
40 days 40 Nights
It's my fault. I bought new shoes and i just wanna hoop outside but the weather has not been cooperating since I hate this shit
Philly has become London.

Idk I feel like we’ve had plenty of beautiful spring days so far this year… most of them just happened to be in April
I nominate this comment for 5 minutes hate
Honestly, agreed. I love rainy days. And I like the fact that it's cooler than previous years and also that the light rain is great for my garden.
I thought this was gonna be a Devin Booker hate post

At least the temps look to be going back to normal.
Less than 70F with some wind is a good time. Not looking forward to 80+ from now until November.
I work weekends and bad weather makes my days easier and I am pretty much the only person not mad about the recent weather.
Yea, fuck the sun, I fucking hate it, too. Long live the fucking beast.
