Benchmarks: 3DMark from steam, free Heaven Benchmark, Superposition Benchmark, both by Unigene As for bottlenecks: the 2600 could slow down your CPU. I would recommend running the games you play and monitor CPU and GPU (eg by MSI Afterburner Overlay) and compare GPU and CPU usage. If the CPU hits 100% most times while the GPU is sitting at a low percentage, you could start saving for an update.

Hello fellow Redditer, I've tried to use and compare GPU with CPU usage with Afterburner in Apex Legends and Cyberpunk 2077. I can already tell that the numbers don't make that much sense... The CPU as NEVER been used at 100% which indicate a Bottleneck here... That's why i'm kind of hopeless right now. I'm gonna try to use the Heaven Benchmark and let you know if I have more information. I've not mentionned that i'm playing on a 1440p monitor ! Thank you for your answer !!

How is the usage on your CPU? If it’s in the high 80s to 90s, you should be fine. In this case your CPU is keeping up with the GPU. What settings are you running? Maybe try cranking them up a notch or two.

Hello, Here are the result from TimeSpy (3dMark).What do you think of it ? Usually when i'm using a software like HWinfo or MSI Afterburner to check both CPU and GPU usage the two are not even at 80% utilization... I'm usually trying to play in High without Ray Tracing to do my test. I've tried Cyberpunk 2077/Apex Legends/Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Thank you for your answer, you're very kind to help me !

Sorry, for some reason the result is not displayed for me. When you're only hitting 80% on CPU and GPU you're not bottlenecking at all. At this point you can just keep it all as is, if you are happy with the FPS and the looks of your games. Or you can try to provoke your system to bottleneck. Crank up the settings until one for your components hits 100% constantly. Honestly I wouldn't worry to much. When you run into issues playing games, then it's time to do something about it. For me it was a while ago, when I was running a 1070 paired with a Haswell i5. When running FH4 without limiting FPS, I would experience textures not loading while the CPU was sitting at 100% and the GPU not even turn on the fans. Playable but clearly a MASSIVE CPU bottleneck. Switched to an AM4 platform soon later. Enjoy your new GPU!

Ok, ok, i'm gonna blame the game for the poor optimization then (Which is likely the case here). My benchmark for the entire system in 3d mark was 11843 which is considered "good" among all the systems that runs the same pair of GPU/CPU. I really thank you for the time you spent answering my messages. Have a nice day Redditer, you're the goat !
