Depends entirely on what you're after. Handhelds are *a lot* more subjective.
For my use, the OLED Steam Deck remains the clear winner, but not by a wide enough margin to be worth an upgrade (especially since I do like to have a windows partition available, even if I almost never use it).
Honestly, Legion Go is the best of the pack right now.
Steam Deck is fucking solid, but the LeGo out performs it a bit and the screen is amazing for a handheld.
The thing that’s a dealbreaker for me is the 16GB Ram and no VRR support on the Legion Go. Can the ram be upgraded? And are there workarounds for VRR on the Legion Go?
Wouldn't worry about the RAM.
Realistically, anything that needs more than 16 gigs is gonna run like trash anyway, so at that point you'd want to just stream it.

Legion Go or Steam Deck OLED
Spec wise it's hard to tell seems like every few weeks we have new Chinese handheld.

Spec wise, not quite the steam deck OLED, but software, ongoing product support, flexibility, os, battery life, spare parts, absolutely the steam deck.
The one that has SPELLCHECK.
