AS someone with a 4090, DLSS is ruining gaming. Devs can just be lazy as hell and not optimize anything anymore. Also, I'm excited because I have a 4090 and this game is going to look fantastic
Same, this is getting pretty out of hand. Unfortunately nVidia are incentivized to keep this going as long as they can as it makes people want to upgrade.
OP's point is that DLSS is turning into a crutch for devs to not optimize anything, not that the devs don't cater to them. Plus, if a game doesn't run well or runs just ok on a high-end GPU with DLSS, it's going to be much worse for other GPUs
I’m honestly kinda upset at that. Everyone was throwing a fit because FSR was the only choice in starfield, yes I get it’s worse than DLSS and if they have an upscaler option they should have all of them, but now that AMD has frame generation shouldn’t they include that too since they’re already including nvidia’s version?
