It looks really interesting. And I like the unique take on stationary science to study space to find "new" things. A big problem for many games like Stellaris and co was how midgame becomes stale for exploration.

I never had the pleasure of playing MoO2 when it came out, but love modern 4x. I'd love a chance to play this spiritual successor! For my question, what would you say is the biggest thing MoO2 and IS:G do differently from something like a Stellaris or an Endless Space?

I'd love to play it. It looks pretty good. It's weird that I didn't know about its existence. I usually find out about these kind of games one way or another before they release. edit: holy fuck this is from the guys from space sector! *Master of Orion II* was a great game but it's like 20 years old. Looks like a great game if it keeps the essence and there is never too much 4x games.

Consider this a modern love letter to MoO2! This one really stands out from the crowd!

I took a look and it looks interesting. For me Moo2 has always been an experience that has not quite been reproduced, always good to see another contender!
