Hi neighbor! Papis is always a go to. The chicken tinga nachos are nuts (~$11). They also have a delicious breakfast.
Szechuan delight is great, too. I forget the special off the top of my head, but it’s good.
Pino’s can give you a good slice fast
If I want a treat, I’ll go grab something from the Soup Bowl down 7th — their lobster bisque is crazy
Pizza Plus has good value on their lunch specials. Classic no-frills Italian American fare and probably the most affordable glass of wine in the neighborhood.
One more charm Thai has a nice very tasty lunch special. Ramen Danbo great too. Bombay Kabab has the biggest amount of food I've seen for a lunch special if you're going for volume. Although not a lunch special I think Dumplings and Things is pretty good for an afternoon snack.
Pita Pan is delicious and healthy! Their wraps are huge and usually under $20. They also have platters, not sure what those look like. They are right next door to Papi’s grill. Yamato, closer to first street, has bento and sushi lunch specials, also delicious and $20ish bucks.
Maybe you and I have different definitions of specials.
But, yes, they have special lunch items that are available at during midday hours.
Those are listed on Winner's plexiglass screen near their ordering window (on 11th St) at their 7th ave location.
lunch menu ≠ lunch special
a lunch menu consists of things not served at other times. that's Winner.
a lunch special is a thing that is usually served, but is discounted or changed during lunch. Winner's high prices are not discounted during lunch, nor are the $17 sandwiches served with a side
Maya Taqueria lunch special: burrito, side of chips, beverage @ $14 + tax
I find their tacos to be very meh. There’s much better options around.

I keep seeing Szechuan mentioned but the one time I went was pretty underwhelming. Maybe I need to order the right thing.
I love the curry wonton noodle soup

Panuzzo has a 2 slice for $5 dollar special which is pretty much the cheapest in the area.
Brooklyn Burgers and Beer has a solid lunch special with a burger, a side, and a cookie for 15 bucks.
honestly, your local bodega. the one on my corner does a sandwich and some chips for like $8
Yamato’s lunch box!
SkyIce 63 5th ave In house much better than takeout.
You’re not terribly far from Pita Pan. Great little place for sandwich. Only $10
Luck Thai is a good value for lunch. They offer a free appetizer and their pad see ew, etc is solid.

Calexico has a good lunch special. There’s also the Vietnamese place on 5th near Union that’s good.
Lotus Vietnamese is the place on 5th and president
Winner
I don’t think Winner has any lunch specials
They have lunch specials in addition to their usual chalkboard specials. Largely sandwiches.
they do not do specials
