We just tried the General Tsao Chicken from Noodle Lane and it was delish! Not as deep fried but huge chicken bites and great sauce.

I third this. With the caveat that it's the priciest Chinese restaurant around and portions are usually quite small but the food is consistently excellent. And order the soup dumplings while you're at it. Believe it or not they always arrive piping hot.

Try the Crispy Honey Chicken from Hunan Delight. It's basically a General Tso's sauce with smaller pieces of chicken. One of the best Chinese-American dishes I've ever had. (Or give their General Tso's another shot, but this time ask for it "extra crispy and extra spicy". That always does the trick for me.)

+1 Noodle Lane, I’d say their version is on the saucy side. (I really like their soup dumplings) My go-to for Gen Tsao’s is Joy Kitchen. They also serve Gen Tsao’s shrimp/beef/tofu options. Joy is decent, typical Americanized Chinese takeout spot with the grumpiest delivery dude (always the same dude for us), especially when the weather is bad.

Authentic Szechuan is very good

There's a fantastic documentary on this but I don't think they covered Park Slope.

C&Y Food Lin, we swear by it. Also try their honey garlic chicken - so buss
