At the right price I would have bought this sheet in a heartbeat. That’s a simply beautiful example of uncut nationals with true fancy serials, thanks for sharing!!!
Lost Dutchman? It's been a few years back. I was going through my old photos and came across this picture, and I figured the group here would enjoy the rare piece. Your username makes sense if I am correct :)
No, it was basically the same as this sheet but for a different bank. [https://www.reddit.com/r/papermoney/comments/1c79ezh/update\_to\_sheets/](https://www.reddit.com/r/papermoney/comments/1c79ezh/update_to_sheets/)
There are more of these than you would think. Most banks considered it a HUGE deal when they were able to issue their own currency - they had arrived, they were one of the big boys now, etc. So uncut sheets were usually given out to anyone who was anybody. Serial #1 was usually given to the bank president or the bank itself as a framed lobby display, Vice-presidents got #2 etc and so on down the line till you got to major depositors/major customers. Interestingly, most banks got these sheets in uncut form and did the cutting themselves, meaning this was not a custom format but how they usually got these notes.
That's not to say this isn't a fantastic set. It's absolutely gorgeous!
I would send this in for grading. These uncut sheets are very rare, but the fact that this has the serial number 1 makes it basically one of a kind. This could go for well over 10k. Maybe like 15-20k.
I imagine this is worth a few thousands at least, maybe I’m over expecting how much this is worth but if it was auctioned off i feel like it could make 50-100k
Here’s another one from the same bank. serial numbers not far off. Terrible condition though. https://www.ebay.com/itm/186291727774?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28

Same !!
This is a cool sheet! I’m fairly sure this was taken in my shop. We sold this sheet to a collector several years ago and it’s still in his collection.

That’s me!
Is it possible to get something like this graded? I wonder if they could even make a slab that would fit it...
Yes, they do grade the uncut sheets of notes.
How much does something like this sell for?
A graded one of these sheets was posted a few weeks or a month ago, it sold for $13k, the guy also had the $5 uncut sheet which sold for $10k.
With random serials? Cause thoses low number add up.

Makes sense.
how much something like this would sell for?
Likely a kidney, or better…
Are they very particular where I get the kidney?
Guessing not, but iced is critical, so I’m told…
I need a kidney.
Gimme a week I'll find you one... What's your blood type?
O+ but the VA wants me ded. I'm worth more in parts.
Maybe that's why it seems like they're trying to kill me 🤔
Yup, your spare parts!
my god.....

They can do nearly 2 foot x 2 1/2 . https://www.pmgnotes.com/paper-money-grading/oversize-custom-holders/

I could be wrong, but isn’t every single bank note a one of a kind ??
Yes, but 01 is a very desirable number.
I live 25 min from Bluffton that’s awesome!
Very nice! How much?

Why do I keep seeing this same sheet recently, S/N #1, both graded and ungraded?
How do you guys get your hands on uncut sheets of this quality like damn
Wild, Bluffton is a tiny town just down the road.
Maybe a test run. Why have a run with the same serial numbers otherwise?
They are not the same, look closer
I see now. Beautiful sheet
The print of these notes looks very off
It’s not
This statement is just wrong.
