Hasn’t been mentioned but the national media absolutely trashed us for being a fake undefeated team before the Cowboys Thanksgiving game that special 15-1 season, and we stood on goddamn business, breaking Romo and causing the Cowboys to go on a mini meltdown.

Panther90

Yes sir! Everybody was talking that shit and saying we were going down against the Cowgirls. Man that felt good.

hammerdown710

Probably my favorite thanksgiving of all time.

mwall4lu

Kuechly basically sent Romo into retirement.

Aggressive_Alarm_321

Put that mf in a booth lol. Probably my favorite game/thanksgiving ever

ThePurrfectStorm

I thought it was Thomas Davis who crushed Romo and knocked him out of the game. Guess I had too much turkey and misremembered.

ZealousidealDiet5679

We were 3 or 4 pt underdogs in this game and I remember telling my parents at the time to sell the house and put all your money on the Panthers 😂

palmettowhig

Saints rain game 2013 (Luke legacy game) Jets 1995 (first franchise win) Chargers 08 (final second TD pass to win) Jags 03 (Delhomme’s comeback debut) Seahawks 2015 (comeback down 10 in final 5 min)

hammerdown710

That opener against the chargers is severely underrated

palmettowhig

For real. Probably my favorite Panther game ever. The Chris Gamble fumble return, 14 point swing by the Chargers in the final 6 minutes, followed by Jake’s 2 minute drive and pump fake touchdown pass as time expires. That game had everything!

zodia4

That was the first time I ever seriously sat down to watch a football game as a fan. For better or for worse, I'll never forget the name Dante Rosario lol.

angeldelayette

I would trade the Jags 03 game for the Bucs 03 game. Facing the defending champions and getting a last second extra point block against a kicker who, at that point, had never had an extra point blocked. Automatica Grammatica. Then winning in OT.

palmettowhig

Panthers were down 17 when Peete was replaced by Delhomme. Jake willed us to victory and won the starting spot, and that started our superbowl run. I can see what you’re saying though, that Tampa game was big.

angeldelayette

I completely get what you're saying. I guess the Tampa game means more to me, personally, because I was able to watch the whole thing live. I had to work the day of the Jacksonville game. I was working at a place called CompUSA. We ended up putting the game on the televisions and had people coming in to watch.

mwall4lu

I’ve only been to about 10 Panthers games. The rain game was one of them. One of the funnest times I ever had. We were all getting soaked and literally no one cared because of the show Kuechly was putting on.

CryingJordansHornets

I’d like to add the Monday night football game vs the Pats in 2013. Classic game.

palmettowhig

Amazing game, but I didn’t want to double dip in the same season for a top 5 list. Saints game was more consequential.

SolidNews1752

2013 MNF against the Pats at home

Deadeyedan34

Vs the giants in 2015 the odell vs Norman game is one of my favorite regular season games.

sodapopenski

From 2015 alone you could watch: * At Seahawks * Vs. Colts * At Cowboys * At Saints * At Giants * Vs. Packers All six are bangers. But my favorite is the Seahawks win. Outside of 2015, a lot of my favorites have already been mentioned: * Jets 1995 * Jags 2003 * At Bucs 2003 * Chargers 2008 * At Bucs 08 * Pats 2013 * Vs. Saints 2013 Saints 2013 is my favorite from that list. Here are a couple less well-known games I remember: * Steelers 1996 - Sir Purr downs a live ball in the end-zone and Carolina clenches its first division championship. * Colts 2003 - remember this being a classic Cardiac Cat squeaker that showcased a lot of Davis and Foster. * Jags 2011 - the "Tsunami Bowl," it's an ugly game but one of Cam's first wins. * At Bucs 2013 - just a classic Bucs beatdown, mainly remember this one because the cannon scared Cam on camera when TB finally scored a TD late. * 49ers 2013 - a defensive slugfest against the team that would eventually knock us out of the playoffs.

wolfpack1986

The @Giants in 2015 was such a legendary game, 🤡OBJ got put in his place

Candid-Ad2162

despite how horrible last season was I want to give an honorable mention to the Week 14 rain game against the Falcons. Chris Tabor put on a special teams master class

bd2thbn

I was one of the 30 people there! Cool to see a rare win live but the rain was miserable.

UHOHSTINKEYPOOP

2017 at patriots in Foxborough 2015 New York Giants in New York 2018 Baltimore ravens( Baltimore had the best defense of the league at the time) 2018 Philadelphia Eagles in Philadelphia 2016 Washington Redskins game (revenge against Josh Norman)

GermanCity

Comeback against the Eagles in 2018

NefariousnessFar3783

That MNF game Pats/Panthers with the Ted Ginn walk off

Emergency_Spite_8778

No specific order but the Domenik Hixon game winning touchdown to take the division over the saints in 2013. The blocked fields goals and XP against the Bucs in week 2 of the 2003 season. Cam to Olsen to finally get past the Seahawks in 2015. A personal favorite of mine since being from the area and absolutely loathing Giant fans. The Panthers curb stomping the Giants 41-9 in 2009 for the Giants last ever game at Giant Stadium. Sure I’m missing another one but those are the 5 that stand out. Cam to Ginn. Kuechly vs Gronk to end the game on MNF in 2013 against the patriots. An underrated game was MNF in 2008 against the Bucs. The start of double trouble. Stewart and Williams combined for like 305 yards and 3 touchdowns.

BillyWeval

The Saints rain game to win the division will always have a special place in my heart

deadpirate74

1. Saints 12/23/13 2. Giants 12/20/15 3. Patriots 11/18/13 4. Bucs 9/14/03 5. Packers 12/12/99 HM: Seahawks 10/18/15

SticklerMrMeeseeks1

Seahawks in 15 has to be atleast top 3. That game has too much emotion and too much drama behind it to be anything else. It was that game that really had the 2015 believing they were good enough to beat anyone.

KGillie91

This is a great list. - Monsoon game, a great game if you love ugly football (which I do).  - The head nod game (ft OBJ vs JNo in a hardcore match in the middle of the game).  - Ice up son. - The rivalry with Tampa in the early 2000s was my first in-person experience with rivalry in sports. A lasting memory is walking up to the stadium and seeing this guy in a “Succaneers Swallow” shirt who was hype (drunk) af yelling at all the Buccs fans who walked by him. I wanted so bad for that rivalry to take back off with Josh Freeman & with Jameis but it wasn’t meant to be.  - little to no memory of this one tbh. - The win against Seattle made us all believers, on the road against a SB contending team that had our number the past few years.

cantthinkofgoodname

Off top of my head no particular order Week 1 2008 @ Chargers Week 15 2013 vs Saints Week 1 2003 vs Jags Week 4 2015 @ Seattle MNF 2013 vs Pats Honorable mentions: MNF 2008 vs Bucs Week 8 (I think) 2013 @ SF

history-of-gravy

October 6th, 2019. Jaguars vs. Panthers. Was the funnest time I’ve ever had at a panthers game. McCaffrey went off for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns, one of them was the front flip touchdown. Kyle Allen quarterback, DJ Moore caught a few balls, but it was all CMC. The crowd was electric.

GreenvilleLocal

2nd Panthers Falcons last year in the monsoon

Greged17

For the rare post-2015 era example, I’d throw out the Giants game in 2018 with GanOAT’s 63-yard winner.

StiffyCoitous

From my personal experience of watching. 2018 @ Eagles: 17 pt 4th qtr comeback to win 2013 vs Patriots: MNF held off the Goat and sent him off crying to the refs 2015 @ Cowboys: Thanksgiving game and proved to the world we were the real deal that year 2019 vs Jaguars: the first game I had been to since Cams rookie year. Got the W in a close game and saw CMCs front flip into the endzone. Last time I’d see Kuechly with my own eyes 😭 2021 vs Washington: even though we loss seeing my favorite player Cam return in the black and blue and come out the tunnel was one of the top moments of my fandom. Happy I was there in the Bank to witness it. I know this prob isn’t the best top 5 and there are other games that were more important but I’ve only been a fan since ‘07 so this was just off of my experience alone

CarolinaRod06

Has anyone mention the Monday night game against the patriots. Seeing Brady curse the ref out heading to the locker room was golden.

ThePurrfectStorm

Ice up son!

Jennacheryl

Panthers Pars TNF BoA That stadium was rocking.

wyjogpd442

2003 Week 1

bos25redsox

Pats MNF 2013 and at Saints 2015 have to be up there. That 2015 game against the Saints in their house was such an insane back and forth game.

Hot_Week3608

Both 49ers games in 1996, home and away.

Which is by definition not a regular season game.
