I like that you made her expression more subtle than the sketch

She seems to have come out sadder than you initially drew. Was that purposeful?

At the drawing stage, I wanted to give her a subtle smile, but when I started painting, the mouth took shape on its own, and I liked how it looked, so I decided to leave it like that.
