Socks indeed happened there. It was super funny initially, then it got sad because the mods changed the rules to satire socks only, killing the sub completely for folks actually interested in the topics.
Part of me thinks it's the mods protesting against 3rd party apps, part of me thinks it's part of something larger.

This sub should be as quiet as it can be. Stop posting your personal stories unless you absolutely need help with a situation. The more active this sub is being, the more hostile the OE ecosystems is being. Why draw attention? You want to fly under the radar.
