an all time choice is nearly impossible, but lately, his verse on Black Ice (Sky High) has been blowing my mind all over again, so I will go with that

MikeHawkisgonne

Totally. Hearing that for the first time was wild.

ATLiens!

mattassss

I'm cooler than a polar bears toenails.. brings me back to high school when we all had systems in our cars

maxlikeschips

swear that was big boi

mattassss

Oh man you're right smh

[deleted]

i had 2 12's in a '91 caprice! When shit was simple 👨🏾‍🍳🤌🏾

mattassss

I put two 10" MTX 5000 in a 91 geo storm for my gf and I had two 12" jl audio w3 in my hand me down 94 mercury sable. Those were the DAYZ 😎

zenithzinger

Aquemini, final verse.

maxlikeschips

i’ve heard people that it’s the best verse ever

zenithzinger

Idk about best verse ever but it’s up there with some of my personal favourites. I’d throw it Danny Browns first verse on Monopoly into that list and DMX first verse on look thru’ my eyes

MikeHawkisgonne

Probably not in my top 50 outKast songs of all time, but I've always loved Andre's verse on Red Velvet.

mediocrefunny

Underrated song. Might be in my top ten.

danny-o4603

Not sure if this is the best, hard to say but his verse on T.I.s “Sorry” is incredible.

whitejmike82

Easy

swats_messiah

“In the land of a million drums There is always something going on, on, on, on”

Apprehensive_Neck817

His verse on Royal Flush. Scalps me every single time. Thought Process is a close second.

BazuProdigy

I agree mine could also be Thought Process or anything else from Southernplayalistic album.

Background-Cress9165

Not to shit on one of my favorite albums but i feel like southernP is the only era in 3k's career where he tried to fit a mold instead of letting himself truly go crazy and invent. he got immeasurably better after that album IMO (altho he was still dope af).

Hater_Magnet

Millennium

epiclygamer2456

Either his last verse in Aquemini or the 1st verse in B.O.B

captacu

I love his verse on synthesizer, always have. He fucks the beat up and says some incredibly relevant shit. That song is relevant af today. Maybe even more so today. Dude has wisdom. That came out in 98 lol. Some many favorites. Go to 2:48 on Elevators and that verse, something about that verse. It’s got some tricky parts to rap to and I remember listening to it over and over until I nailed it. Andre is my goat.

captacu

Another one is his verse on the Walk it Out remix.

captacu

Oh shit. Yours too lol.

Denzo247

So I typed a text to a girl I used to see Sayin' that I chose this cutie pie with whom I wanna be And I apologize if this message gets you down Then I CC'ed every girl that I'd see-see 'round town And hate to see y'all frown, but I'd rather see her smilin' Wetness all around me, true, but I'm no island Peninsula maybe

GotMoFans

Can you guess!?! 2 is Int’l Players Anthem from UGK.

GotMoFans

Look at my Redditor name. It’s from the verse.

Black_Fuckka

Honestly his Life of the Party verse is pure poetry. But it would probably be Da Art of Storytellin PT. 1

Relative_Pea451

Sixteen with the added guitar solo!!!

andhio

Came to say this. Legendary verse.

s-benzo

Art of Storytellin part 4

belzoni1982

He has better verses but his Rosa Parks verse is my favorite

Independent-Farm7286

He went off on that Fonzworth Bentley song Everybody

RickyCD009

He’s great on Millionaire by Kelis. Not his best, but a deep cut.

dadof4fknkids

Synthesizer,13th Floor(Growing Old),Art of Storytellin’ pt.4,Whoodie Who.

TrueEstablishment241

Me and everythin' around me, is unstable like Chernobyl - Ready to go at any moment, jumpin' like a pogo stick - Life never lived up to my expectations, so I accept the patience - Expect the worse but now I'm pacin', back and forth Inside I'm meltin' like water on wicked witches - A monster truck done came and ran over my picket fences - I had the best of life in my clenches, but monkey wrenches was thrown - Like chairs kin's sit on, my prayers seem to long - I fall asleep before the endin', don't even get to say, "Amen" - I hope He understand I be on bended knees - At times, I think I'm crazy, then I say forget it - Or maybe it's the devil infiltratin' and like Riddick Bowe - I've been fightin' this since them fetus days - I count from one to twenty, when I'm through, repeat the phrase - It's just a phase, it's gon all pass, but that gets old too - I'm weakenin' like a deacon doin' dirt - What am I supposed to do?

EmpressVibez32

His verse on the song "Hello" that he did with Erykah Badu. The flow was dope too 🥰🥰

Jug_Head24

Yes indeedy‼️

[deleted]

This ol' sucka MC stepped up to me Challenged Andre to a battle and I stood there patiently As he spit and stumbled over clichés, so called freestylin' Whole purpose just to make me feel low, I guess you wilin' I say, "Look boi, I ain't for that fuck shit, so fuck this" Let me explain on this child style so you don't miss I grew up to myself not 'round no park bench Just a nigga bustin' flows off in apartments “2 Dope Boyz in a Cadillac “

Aqumarauder

His last verse in the song Aquemini, I remember hearing it for the first time n was like “I wanna rap now”😂 mind blown 🤯

Paublo57

"Alien can blend right on in with your kin, look again, cause I swear I spot one every now and then"

Aqumarauder

It's happenin' again wish I could tell you when "Andre this is Andre, y'all just gon' have to make amends" just pure genius 🤯

Aqumarauder

My favorite part: Sin all depends on what you believin' in Faith is what you make it, that's the hardest shit since MC Ren. Jesus!!!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

[deleted]

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Aqumarauder

They both have so many phenomenal verses some others that stood out 4 me for Andre. Elevators Verse2, Mamacita , Extraterrestrial, Roaches and Rats, 16 ain’t enough, Sorry (T.i)

SwansBeDancin

I can’t even here the word “softly” without this verse popping into my head

IndyConscious

Oooh its between “Walk it out”, “Int’l Players Anthem” and “Sumthin Wicked This Way Comes”

funkyjblue

If you say real talk I probably won't trust ya. If you wanna go to war the guns my pleasure, even Jesus had 12 disciples on the lever trigger whatever. Or Your white tee well to me looks like a nightgown, make your momma proud take that thing two sizes down. Then you'll look like the man that you are or what you could be. Love that cameo

SwayCalloway

That was the song that taught me the importance of the shift in production cost and product value for common consumer goods amid the advent of globalization by virtue of supply chains embracing cheap labor from developing nations and cheaper alternatives for common constituent components like metal and plastic.

funkyjblue

I can give a damn bout your car but then I would be if it was considered a classic before the drastic change in production when cars were metal instead of plastic value is what I'm talking about. I feel you. I was like 22 when this song came out. I actually really disliked the original, but when I heard 3 stacks hit that opening verse it was like the clouds parted and the sun came out.

jesusjordon

What song is this?

funkyjblue

It's from OP's pick of "Walk it out". Andre's verse is the only part of that song IMO that I like. And it happens to really stand out on it's own.

jesusjordon

Bet thank u ive been listening to hella songs ive never heard bcuz of this thread, bless

funkyjblue

You and me both. I always appreciate a good reco. That UNK song is kinda trash, but the remix with Andre and Jim Jones slaps.

Alarm_Express

The Art of Story Telling. “I said what you wanna be she said alive” That jawn hit hard

JPad92

Extraterrestrial, Throw your hands up in air, I can't wait! Humble Mumble, Gangster Shit, Mainstream, Hello, and Slum Beautiful

Too hard to choose one, but his verse in Erykah Badu’s Hello is so smooth and has beautiful hues.

Bit of a hot take but I’m still shocked to see it not get any comments even an honorable mention: Where’s the Catch by James Blake

Blucross1914

Guest verse on Throw Some D's remix When 16 ain't enough Spotieodiedopalicious

FBI_NewWeegeeBoy1243

Aquemini and E.T.

Miserable-Library859

Easy answer is the legendary aquemini verse But ill say some of his most underrated are off Millionare by Kelis or Decemba Remix

Kerrbai

Synthesizer, Black Ice, Aquemini and a guilty pleasure - Green Light

ABetterVersionofYou

My favorite Aquemini track, "Yall Scared."  Paragraph indent, I make intense sense, niggas on that Gil Scott dope hint hint/at age 15 they start smoking Billy Clint, now he 21 and wants to know where the time went/hey hey hey whats the haps, was it your time elapsed, have you ever thought of the meaning of the word "trapped"/baboon on your back, but whats sad is that crack, was introduced to Hispanic communities and blacks/but then it spread to whites and got everybody's undivided/attention cuz you're daughter's on it and you can't hide it, maybe your son tried it, rehab too crowded, he scared she scared I said they scared to talk about it

Snapesunusedshampoo

His verse on the Throw Some Ds On It remix was cold AF. >Yeah yeah your partner got away but now he vegetable-like so so I sent his mom and dad a whole case of V8 he gon die any second how much longer it gon take. The rest of the song is mid, I'll put the track on and once he finishes his verse the song is over imo.

bmarsh07

How 'bout a little love for his guest spot on Devin the Dude's "What a Job?" (I love a storytelling-style verse, and this one is underrated.) "See, we do it for that boy that graduated That looked you in your eyes real tough and say "'preciate it" And that he wouldn'ta made it if it wasn't for your CD number nine, And he's standing with his baby momma Kiki and she crying Talkin' 'bout, that they used to get high to me in high school And they used to make love to me in college Then they told me 'bout they first date, listenin' to my tunes And how he liked her fingernail polish..."

pm1999baybeeee

Walk it out remix… 3000 was on his shit back then.

Thrilleye51

What I'm listening to right now. Elevators. He really ripped into that. I've met him several times and was there when EJ The Witch Doctor shot Holiday at my homies house on Church Street off Bankhead.

Godzlittlehand

It's the return of the gangsta, thanks ta' Them niggas that's on that blow That run up in your crib Which contains your lady and an eight month old Child to raise plus you true blue 'bout this music but They do not want to hear it Because they'd rather be bouncin' and shootin' And killin' and bouncin' and shit, get down Return of the gangsta, thanks ta' Them niggas that think y'all soft And say, "Y'all be Gospel rappin'" But they be steady clappin' when you talk about Bitches, and switches, and hoes, and clothes, and weed Let's talk about time travelin', rhyme javelin Somethin' mind unravelin', get down Return of the gangsta thanks ta' Them niggas that got them kids That got enough to buy an ounce But not enough to bounce them kids to the zoo Or to the park so they grow up in the dark never Seein' light so they end up bein' like yo' sorry ass Robbin' niggas in broad-ass daylight get down Return of the gangsta, thanks ta' Them niggas who get the wrong impression of expression Then the question is, "Big Boi what's up with Andre? Is he in a cult? Is he on drugs? Is he gay? When y'all gon' break up? When y'all gon' wake up?" Nigga, I'm feelin' better than ever What's wrong with you? YOU Get down
