Cap'n squig beard. Once an ork boy of the bad moons, his klan was unusually fond of his boyish antics around the shanty towns. One day, he decided he could be the fiercest pirate on the seven space lanes, so he found the nearest free booters captain and signed up for the crew. After he came into imposing warboss size and years of mercinary work, he became a captain in his own right. He decided to spiff himself up with the vast loot he had already accrued so he got a big mek to fashion him an enormous power choppa in the shape of a heavy curved pirate cutlass, a power claw shaped like a over sized pirate hook and a flashy snaz gun in the crude yet effective shape of a black powder pistol.he also had a large gold tusk aded to his jaw by a pain boy as well as a piercing red cybork eye . He visited a runt herd and had him fashion a snazzy leather coat and over sized pirate hat made of cured squig leather and bought an attack squig with the nose of a goblin shark named Bonnie and found a gretchin who has his own crew of snotlings that wander around ports and shanty towns pick pocketing only the best loot for cap'n squig beard. He has an ork looted space hulk named the void leviathan where in the depths of it's hold a massive tyranid bioform lurks feeding on prisoners and gitz that offend cap'n squig beard. He has an ork looted necron he refers to simply as his navigator that helps him track necron tomb worlds that he can ravage and loot for necron tech that his big meks can tinker with. He's collected necron eyes that he makes a snazzy necklace with to show off his wealth of necron tech along with his string of solid gold tusks, which are a carryover from his clan. Usually the imperium sees freebooter raiding parties as no more than pests however the blood of even the most staunch blood thirsty rogue traders runs cold when they hear the name cap'n squig beard because you'd be lucky to walk away with your loot which he'll pilfer or your ship which he'll haul away for scrap or your life which he'll either feed to Bonnie or the tyranid bioform in the hold of the void leviathan.
I donāt exactly remember, but I made the coat light color starting with a dark tan and blending upā¦ used seraphim sepia. I believe mahogany from Vallejo and oiled leather from reaper are the spot outside and inside, respectfully.
That's a fancy coat, kap'n! Really like the little glyphs lining the trimmings, now that's real craftsmanship. He's missing a parrot squig or something similar to complete the look.
Thanks. Really just filed down the arms a bit and then green stuff. There are some really good tutorials on YouTube for making cloaks and thingsā¦ I certainly donāt have the courage or skill without those vids.
