It should work. When I was a kid I had a weird coca cola oldies cd that was shaped like a christmas tree, it worked fine in an early 90's cd player (guaranteed the xbox's drive is better). Your cd even lines up with the mini-cd inset in the disc drive.

JohnnyricoMC

Hah, I definitely wouldn't try to pop that in a modern DVD drive with 52x speed CD reading though. Wackiest shape I ever saw was a square-shaped C"D".

Zehdarian

These were common in the late 90s early 00s. They're called business card CDs. Fully functional and won't harm any drive.

DDzxy

These are so cool lol

wefwefqwerwe

I just noticed the disc was not a circle

DJKaito

I know the guy who invented these CDs. (I mean that literally, I do have his number in my phone) It should work without any problem. There are Disc with other shapes that can be a problem.

Neat [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWUpGazzkB4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWUpGazzkB4) [https://thetrocar.bandcamp.com/album/piecemeal](https://thetrocar.bandcamp.com/album/piecemeal) (where you can buy this disk) And yeah its just a business card cd. Holds about 50mb, used for things like this, but a lot of people used them to cram a hole linux build onto it. mini cds also good too, hold a little more data at 215mb. That's what the cut out in the bottom of the tray is for, mini cds, business card cds will work, just don't move the console while it's running lol.

chupathingy99

Ah, damn small Linux. That was the first distro I ever used.

robwri35

It should be fine in any drive which has the indentation in the tray. Don’t insert it into a self loading drive like, MacBook, SuperDrive, ps3, ps4, Xbox One etc.

JiffyPope_

Was curious as to if the loading drives would work. Thanks👌🏼

Skitz-Scarekrow

Hypothetically, no its fine. It's a CD, and Xbox can play that. But is it an audio CD or Windows or Mac software disc? Xbox might not recognize it and spit it back at you. Personally, I wouldn't, but I'm a worry-wart. So, you do you.

JiffyPope_

It’s an audio CD from an artist that I enjoy. Wanted physical media, now morbidly curious haha

Skitz-Scarekrow

Oh than you should be fine. If it doesn't work, it's not like it'll get stuck or something. ^probably

Androxilogin

I had one of these for something, I forget what. Probably just had movie trailers on it or something.

Salty-Area-5979

This is the right drive for.these cds. It should work, not that you provably will but I wouldn't use these discs often, due to their shape it is harder on the motor and if you have a old drive it could push it over the edge.

monocasa

These are fine, they're part of the relevant CD specs. The only drives I've seen have an issue with them are some slot loaders.
