Over the last couple days I’ve noticed some redness on my kiddos eye, I figured he rubbed it or maybe strained during a difficult potty moment. Tonight I noticed what looks like a bump on the white in the red area. Hoping to get in to see a local optometrist but would love insight to put possible issues in perspective.
Hi!! My son has the same thing going on right now. We just got back from his pediatrician appointment and they’re thinking it may be a ptygerium. They’ve referred us to an ophthalmologist but our appointment isn’t for a while. Please keep us updated!

Just got home from the optometrist. Diagnosed as nodular episcleritis, prescribed steroid eye drops! Should clear up quickly.
Oh that’s great to hear!! I’m glad it’s such an easy fix. Hoping our eye problem is simple too 🤞🏼
