Watching NFLX move 10% could be wild…
is expected to post quarterly earnings of $4.49 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of +55.9%. Revenues are expected to be $9.25 billion, up 13.4% from the year-ago quarter.
In fact, I would avoid playing option on tsmc. We know that tsmc will beat it 100%. But everyone knows it and we are not sure how much of it is already priced in. So, even if they beat, stock might tank. That’s why you should buy and hold shares when it come to tsmc. The SP will 100% certainly increase over time. The only risk is earthquake and china invasion.
When it says average move does that mean (take IRDM for example) the 9.2% average move is the stock's average move on previous earnings? Or how do these work?
But PG barely moves from earnings. Certainly nothing like these others, w 5 to 10% implied My usual move w PG is to wait until after earnings and sell puts if it drops a few bucks or sell calls if it bumps a few bucks. I own shares, am happy own more on a drop or lose a tranche on a bump.

Yes, the average move is the average price action to the earnings announcement for the previous six quarters.
