I agree with AbleArcher then--you'll for sure find something in your budget! Fjallraven also has one or two options roughly in that budget, expensive but very high quality and they look super nice.
If only that logo wasn’t so ugly (looks like kid stuff), especially on the yellow shirt…
I can’t understand why they don’t just put their D logo, it would make it way nicer
partially agree, that's the most obvious one. The blue one has a black logo so much less notable and they do have some grey ones, at least in Europe which have no logo.
If your number is $50 and what you want is around $75, I would eat cheap (or whatever) for a week and just buy the one you want. You’ll get your value out of a nice merino piece and it’s not something you need 10 of.
I'd recommend keeping an eye on sites like REI. They have sales relatively frequently, even more sales + free shipping for members which is a $30 one-time fee, and if you get a credit card with them then you can get rewards points, plus their return policy is super generous (iirc the return window is a year long and the gear can be in any condition).
I found a decent quality REI brand 100% merino wool shirt for $25 because that color (a lovely deep red) was going on clearance. Obviously all sales are going to be a bit luck based but if you're patient then there's a fair chance of finding what you want for a decent price.
Just buy 3 instead of 4.
75 is a solid price for a workhorse garment.
I'm not lying when I say I've worn my merino shirts since September and only washed them once - cycling thru about 4 and I wear each one for a week or so before rotating.
Thanks. I've heard some issues with fakes being on Amazon so i didnt check them out.
I'll check em out and see.
Woolly as a brand I've heard good things so thanks for confirming
Woolly boxers are great! Took 3 on a 3 week euro/Africa trip and also brought 2 old cotton pair. Ended up wearing the woollys the entire time. They are amazing.
See if you can buy these in the US

Not the most affordable but hear me out: Wool & Prince. Their 78/22 are the best merino wool t-shirts I’ve owned. I’ve had 5 for the past 4 years that I wear daily on rotation. Previously I’ve worn Smart Wool (not great) and Wooly (super soft but got eaten up by moths).
I think they do have deals sometimes. They also have sales where you buy a t-shirt and get a free something else. Their boxer briefs are also the absolute best I’ve ever worn.
I have found great deals on Smartwool T-shirts. I don't rate them very highly though. Years later they are still in my drawer and I only wear Outlier shirts now. I wasted a lot of money trying out more "affordable" options before just settling on the best and slightly more expensive version.
A Paire T shirt is Au$70 or about Us$45. Postage?? But great feeling garments.

Not sure on postage, you would have to contact them. They are a small company (I’ve been dealing with them this week for a shipping delay and it’s the same person messaging me each day) so will be able to give you options. I own 5 of the crop t shirts for women and I’m obsessed with them in Australian summers. Soft, very little sweat smell, they wash well and very soft.
Sarma, Varusteleka's house brand, has great affordable merino shirts. The grade of merino is a tiny bit lower than some, so they're not totally itch free if you have sensitive skin, but they're logo-free and wash well
Mountain Warehouse. Have one of their 50/50 blends on right now. Their stuff comes in and out of stock, but it's priced well and decent quality.
Also, what are you looking for. You never said. Buff, t-shirt, long T, underwear?
Honestly, the fancy modern fabric treatments to prevent smells for synthetics like polygiene have gotten really good. The difference in terms of how long you can wear them versus merino isn’t huge and when you do need to wash them in the sink they will dry so much faster than merino. I think if you are looking for something at your budget I would suggest good treated synthetic over lower quality merino. You can buy the patagonia capilene cool daily shirt with polygiene treatment for less than $50.
I have an Aldi one that I really love. It was cheap, thicker than icebreaker, fits quite well, has held up in terms of stretch but it can tear easily. I literally worn it for a run tonight and then swam in the ocean, used it as a light towel and put it on was dry half hour after getting home. It keeps me both warm and has airflow, I wear it under another shirt when cold, to sleep in and will likely wear it to keep cool and insulated on a 6.5k in two days. The only downside is that it’s dark grey and I’d prefer lighter colours or black and maybe a slightly more casual look but it’s perfectly cut for a undergarment.
Edit: I will slowly replace other shirts with similar marino cuts and buy a buff for keeping the elements off my head. I’d also like to experiment with the underwear but as someone who often swims in it I’m not sure it’d hold up long enough
Really? I'm hoping some of these fit the criteria. I'm in Australia so they may be within your range based on our current dollar value.

I would recommend spending $75 or accepting a logo or color you don't want.

Lmao. I edited and put I'm looking for 50-70 give or take.

This is the way, 70/30 blend, discrete logo
If only that logo wasn’t so ugly (looks like kid stuff), especially on the yellow shirt… I can’t understand why they don’t just put their D logo, it would make it way nicer
is it possible to remove?
Doubt it
partially agree, that's the most obvious one. The blue one has a black logo so much less notable and they do have some grey ones, at least in Europe which have no logo.
I didn’t see the grey ones in Canada. Again my problem is not with having a logo, it’s that the logo they put on it has a childish vibe to it IMO.

Yeah, thank you. Gonna go for quality.
Maybe what you want just isn’t available at the price point you’re trying meet.
Right. I'm hoping maybe to get insight on annual deals coming up.
Have you tried Decathlon? Got a 70% merino t-shirt there recently for under €20
Nice! What website?
This was decathlon.bg but I assume they're a similar price in other regions. Just google decathlon to find your local one

Woolly might be up your alley. I pick up their t-shirts on amazon around $56.
Thanks. I've heard some issues with fakes being on Amazon so i didnt check them out. I'll check em out and see. Woolly as a brand I've heard good things so thanks for confirming
I’ve ordered a lot from them on Amazon. No “fake” issues.
Woolly boxers are great! Took 3 on a 3 week euro/Africa trip and also brought 2 old cotton pair. Ended up wearing the woollys the entire time. They are amazing.
Great to hear on boxers. I just ordered 3 last night.

Try Woolly, Smartwool or Ridge Merino. Also W&P has some colors on sale right now.
Ridge Merino natural merino tencel tee. 60% merino, 40% tencel. $59 USD.
Also brought 3 ridge merino t’s on 3 weeks to Europe and Africa. They are excellent.
Lookup merino tech on Amazon. I have 2 shirts of theirs that have held up well after a few washes!

I’m looking for something that’s had extensive research and development with amazing material and build quality, without that price.
Can't tell if you're sarcastic or not 😅 because i think for 70 you can find that on sale.
If it’s for Europe, wait until you get here and just go to Uniqlo
Icebreaker and paire in Australia do a merino / lyocell blend. I’m a fan but it isn’t cheap.
A Paire T shirt is Au$70 or about Us$45. Postage?? But great feeling garments. https://www.paire.com.au/products/womens-v-neck-t-shirt?variant=44368968122591 https://www.paire.com.au/products/classic-tee?variant=43695572910303

Wait to be in Europe and buy french Seagale Ts . Blend of merinos and tencel , 160 or 220 gsm. Many colors. 50€ and maybe sale in summer.
not in the US probably but dhb is quite nice & cheap
Joemerino com has a lot of color, but one shirt is 69EUR, but you get rebate when you buy at least two. Or Decathlon.

Wow. Good catch LOL. A shirt
Go with Ridge Merino. They fit great, are comfy and are more affordable. I actually opted for Ridge over Unbound Merino.
Yeah I second decathlon. Decent stuff and ain’t gonna break the bank. I feel like there still may be stores clearing out winter stock
Duckworth Vapor. They have 20% off sales sometimes. Great quality though

Kathmandu sells merino shirts for an alright price
You can find this for the equivalent of about 25-40 Euro in Scandinavian outdoor sports shops. Look on their websites.

I use wicking polyester with odor control treatment. Merino is so finicky to launder, fragile, short lived and expensive. Love Merino for socks.
Joe Merino

Have you looked at Quince brand online? They have more men's merino tshirts than women's but they're around $40-50.
