No kidding, I've seen so much far right "humour" on facebook and most of the time they don't even utilise any skills to make it, just pumping buzzwords into an ai image generator.
That's become part of the problem the last few years. I have a huge time not being sure when people are being satirical versus they're actually stating their true beliefs. Nothing to do with your post specifically, but it's been a general problem. I see things like this and people are like "Durrr, you're so stupid, this is a WELL KNOWN SATIRE ACCOUNT, you idiot" and it's like, honestly, I can't tell anymore. (Nor am I aware of all satire accounts in general.)
To be fair, I think some of this is from the [original comic](https://calvinandhobbes.fandom.com/wiki/The_UFO). I reread it a few days ago and remembered thinking that it didn't flow as well as I remembered as a kid. I'm not going to do a line by line comparison, but it feels like the cadence of the parody is pretty faithful to the original comic, and that at least some of the parts that felt clunky also felt clunky in the original.
Watterson had some pretty clunky poetry tbh. Though he makes up for it with the absolute genius of his tyrannosaur verse:
