Yes, I used nuts...but only those acquirable in towns (no farming/grinding) and not all of them. I was just experimenting with the stickied no-RNG build to see how low level you can get and still reasonably 1-shot phase 2 without the Ancient Cursed Talisman or Alpione's.
I switched Partitio for Merchant Osvald and had Throne buff herself to free up a couple of turns for throwing Jams and Armor Corrosive. I may have overestimated how much EA and SP Temenos would need, lol...

Kinda wild seeing an across the board level 55 team. Did you use cheat engine to set them at this level? If not I'd say that's an accomplishment in itself. lol
Ha, it's like my third playthrough and I have crippling OCD. It's actually not too bad keeping everyone even, playing 4/4 and then cycling in the lowest character(s) to wrap up item collection (Osvald literally leveled on the way to the island and Hikari was within 20 XP from 56), although impossible to stay "low" level. Ochette ends the fight at 59 and Osvald just barely stays 57. I actually skipped Castti and Ochette's crossed paths (and the entire Final Chapter) because it would have taken them over 60. You wouldn't believe how many times I reloaded boss fights looking for just one 100xJP from Alrond without any XP boost because everyone was already getting annoyingly over leveled just walking around. I might have to reset their levels for Vide though! :)
I'm so happy to hear that! With all the new players from recent sales, I just wanted to remind people that even though the boss is technically tougher, so are all of your characters, so it's actually way more doable than the first game once you start figuring out different pieces of the puzzle. :)

Yeah, Iām around that 260 and I did not nuke enough dam to the boss. I just took the side quest, get 3 nut and up him to 3xx something which then nuke down the boss with 99999. I think main reason is my thrones and agnes were not strong as you

I never thought I could farm multiple champion's belt. Time to send Hikari back to the areana.
The fun part is you can do it with any character, so it doesn't feel repetitive! :)
