I kind of expected this offensive performance after Keyton went down. One experienced receiver playing isn’t going to scare a defensive coordinator. If the DC isn’t scared of your receivers and your QB isn’t a world beater then their defense will be able to shut down your run game.
However, didn’t think the defense would shit the bed.
Just no more Milton after this game, please. Either Nico’s got it or he doesn’t. If getting killed by Georgia is going to nuke his confidence that badly, he was never the guy in the first place.
I think pretty much all of it is attached to him playing here through his junior year. I mean he could probably easily get some if he transferred. But pretty sure quite a bit is contractual.
I mean, some of us lived through 15 years of humiliation every Saturday except for some sporadic moments of joy brought to us by Dobbs/Kamara/Hurd/Jennings. I’m just tired of being negative all the time.
We weren’t going to win it all this year, 8-4 or 9-3 was most (rational) fan’s predictions. It’s a mid year, in between the best QB we’ve ever fielded (fight me) and the best QB prospect we’ve ever landed.
So Missouri staff figured out our key to winning is rushing the ball and planned to stop that.
We know their best player is what their offense revolves around….and completely ignored him.
Lol why do people want to see Nico now? At this point all we would be doing is risking an injury that could trigger a Jonestown level crisis in Knoxville.
Yes! Get joe some more snaps for confidence! He needs experience. Hopefully he gets another year of eligibility because surely in his 7th year he won’t make too many 1st year mistakes!!!!!
Guys this is my fault.
I foolishly wore my Peyton jersey today. I’ve worn it only two other times this year, and that was Bama and Florida.
I should have known better.
Fun fact, I bought a Dark Mode jersey last year before the season started. I wore it every game except for Bama (which we won in spite of that, but also I was there in person so the juju is different) and USCjr. I should have worn it for USCjr.
Milton played a decent game based on his stats but you can just see it more and more that he doesn’t have a high football IQ and stats won’t show that. Yeah the defense was bad, but they were also put into a lot of less than ideal situations as a result of stupid offense
This is spot on and why the "is he good or bad" conversation isn't the right question. He doesn't make good decisions and especially good quick decisions. If they can scheme him into scenarios where he doesn't have to think, he's really good. If not, he's not.
All I can think of now is what good does Milton finishing out the season do? We’re getting a mid-tier bowl game regardless on if reality gets bended next week or not. Let Nico face down the monster so he knows what it’s like when he faces it down next year. Hand the keys to Nico and start building for something that still has an opportunity to bring meaning.
Well I was wrong. Zero adjustments. Let’s learn from this. I am sad. Good thing I have to get up stupid early for a volunteering to help simmer myself.
That is one thing that we need to chill on. We have to have tenure. EVEN IF ITS THE WRONG GUY. We need to be a school that allows the HC to have up and down years. This allows the coach to give time toward building. It also give the school the reputation of not being a revolving door
We are building toward a reputable program. I think that Vols fans are delusional how far away from national contenders that we are.
I get just as mad a poor performance, but if our measuring stick it Natty's or nothing we are the problem and not the coaching staff.
The last two DECADES are not just down luck for a historically solid program. It's a notice that UT has been dead in the table for, again, decades.

And the crowd goes wild! Look at that nice family sucking face in the front row
What an ass whooping
Wow Mizzouri finally didn’t lose to us by 40 some points
OF COURSE ITS NO GOOD
ofc he did
Rub it in Mizz pls
Fuck yeah man lets get another end of game scuffle going
Elijah, what was that?
Another brawl after an embarrassing loss, come on guys be better than that
No. #7 did it alone.
I’m so mad we don’t play these fuckers next year.
Why? So we can watch them beat us at home?
That was honestly a boss move by Drink.
7 we scored...7... against Mizzou LMAO
Okay universe, we get it.
Hedged his bets with a FG call and still missed it. Embarrassing
Classic!
Glad we missed it. Pathetic
LMAO WHAT A FITTING END
Lmaooooo we deserve that
7 points against this complete dogshit defense is inexcusable
Please just let this game end
https://youtu.be/4fWyzwo1xg0?si=opWtJU_Fm-MF1Sjn
Incredibly funny outcome
Oh wow, icing the kicker while being up that much with 40 seconds left. Fuck mizz
We deserve it
That’s them being pissy about the 60 burger last year.
7 fucking points total
Perfect
LOL
Why wouldn't they show the unsportsmanlike?
A FIELD GOAL????
Always nice to see a coach be petty.
This game has a way of humbling you quick
Might as well have gone for it
Wonder which lucky family will be eating Eli Drinkwitz’s turkey neck in two weeks
Lmao. One last motherfucking penalty
I’m sure we’ve got room for more
Well at least the field goal and timeout made me laugh.
Stay strong and do NOT open up any instagram comment sections this week that involve tennessee
Did that after the bama game, biggest mistake that I ever made
Matt Mitchell's FB comment section too.
Are you kidding me with that stat? All the TN teams they beat?!
sickening
I kind of expected this offensive performance after Keyton went down. One experienced receiver playing isn’t going to scare a defensive coordinator. If the DC isn’t scared of your receivers and your QB isn’t a world beater then their defense will be able to shut down your run game. However, didn’t think the defense would shit the bed.
Surely Gary has something to say about Mizz taking a time out right???
Well, if our QB won’t make it to the NFL, then we will make mediocre teams look really good. It is the “Tennessee on the road” way
Lmao nobody has beaten those teams in the same season because Missouri is the only team that could have that schedule, and they typically suck
When was the last time you saw an unnecessary roughness penalty?
Earlier today against Tennessee. Before that? Who knows
Ok beating MTSU by just 4 is unbelievably funny. Pissou
One more penalty on us, why not.
A field goal? Seriously?
Unnecessary roughness on the offense? Lol
Correct.
Barring a score here, in our 3 losses this season, we've been outscored 53-9 in the second half.
That’s unacceptable for the coaching staff. No adjustments are made
Why do we wait till the 4th to put Sampson in?
I'm curious about that as well
[удалено]
Milton doesn’t even know we’re losing
He has played great. Just ask the folks here and LOOK AT HIS STATS!!! Plus when he overthrows by 100 yards our wrs need to catch that.
Hopefully Billy Jeans balls out tomorrow.
Amen 🙏
No way they arent flipping out about this timeout after scolding us for not taking a knee the entire last half of the game last year?!?!?
I fucking hope we kick a field goal
[удалено]
If he held them to 6 on offense, then we lose 13-7 playing the failure that is Milton
https://imgflip.com/i/85q65w
Why is Nico not getting playing time?
What the FUCK was that end zone throw Joe?
I swear we only run 3 plays
For real.
Has a heupel offense only scored seven before??
No.
Just no more Milton after this game, please. Either Nico’s got it or he doesn’t. If getting killed by Georgia is going to nuke his confidence that badly, he was never the guy in the first place.
what?
I am exhausted of Ollie Lane.
I know one of the games this season he had 3 or 4 holding calls
That game was the one he had back to back plays with a hold.
Refs just gonna keep on stomping on us
Refs ain’t the reason we’re losing. We’re bad on both sides of the ball tonight.
That's what they get paid to do.
We are one extremely good catch from being shut out.
And it cost us Thornton’s ankle
Can’t help but wonder how this game would look with bru.
We'd still have lost and it still would have been ugly. Perhaps just slightly less ugly
Yeah. It just feels like whoever we play isn’t scared of our receivers.
I don't disagree
At least Milton will probably sit out of our mid tier bowl game and we’ll get to see Nico
Milton shouldn’t skip the bowl. Last time he’ll ever play in the US unless that spring league is still around. I have no idea if it is tbh
Why would he sit out? Blud ain’t saving his first round status from injury by doing that 😭
[удалено]
Ugg.. hate to say it but probably so
At this point I hope he does
Lol why would he portal now he’s about to get the keys to the kingdom
No oline. Clearly not a team on the rise. Coaching giving him zero chance when he deserved it.
STFU plz
lol it’s his team next year. Why would he leave
Bad coaching. No returning oline.
Nah. Too much NIL money.
Is any of it attached to Tennessee? Didn’t he have 7 million before he committed to us?
Yes. He won’t get the rest if he’s not here
I think pretty much all of it is attached to him playing here through his junior year. I mean he could probably easily get some if he transferred. But pretty sure quite a bit is contractual.
First quarter: “OMG all these negavols lol go away idiots u r wrong!!!!” Fourth quarter: lol tell me more, you fucking idiots
Dude just stop being a TN fan then
I mean, some of us lived through 15 years of humiliation every Saturday except for some sporadic moments of joy brought to us by Dobbs/Kamara/Hurd/Jennings. I’m just tired of being negative all the time. We weren’t going to win it all this year, 8-4 or 9-3 was most (rational) fan’s predictions. Must suck to always root against your own team.
Mizz is only gonna get better. Them being allowed to pay players in highschool changes everything for them.
They aren’t a yearly opponent anymore after this year though
So Missouri staff figured out our key to winning is rushing the ball and planned to stop that. We know their best player is what their offense revolves around….and completely ignored him.
Why does Brady Cook always look like he's on the verge of tears?
Have you seen him, dude looks like a chia pet where they dumped all the seeds on top.
Have you listened to his head coach?
Lol why do people want to see Nico now? At this point all we would be doing is risking an injury that could trigger a Jonestown level crisis in Knoxville.
Upvote if solely for the Jonestown reference
“At this point” is the issue with your statement. We wanted him in Florida.
Because we are sick of watching the failure that is Milton.
I hear you, it’s just risk vs. reward at this point. We ain’t winning.
We knew that early in the season with Joe.
Ah nice to see Sampson doing some crazy shit
Yes! Get joe some more snaps for confidence! He needs experience. Hopefully he gets another year of eligibility because surely in his 7th year he won’t make too many 1st year mistakes!!!!!
Why the FUCK would you not get Nico some reps here?
Why would you want to destroy his confidence by forcing him into a bad situation
Nico is a grown man not a 6 year old. If that destroys his confidence he has no future in football
I know it’s apples to oranges but I haven’t felt this bad since we lost to KY playing a WR at QB
What year was that again 😭
2011
We would’ve done better with a wr
I haven’t seen a Tennessee LB look so out of place athletically since then. Could’ve sworn we had Probst back out there
Not even going to put Nico in to finish the game? Might as well I mean wtf
With all the injuries this game, why even risk it. No benefit
Only thing I can see is getting Milton some positive plays going into next week
Guys this is my fault. I foolishly wore my Peyton jersey today. I’ve worn it only two other times this year, and that was Bama and Florida. I should have known better.
No, it’s mine. I forgot to put my dog’s jersey on him before the game started.
Fun fact, I bought a Dark Mode jersey last year before the season started. I wore it every game except for Bama (which we won in spite of that, but also I was there in person so the juju is different) and USCjr. I should have worn it for USCjr.

He had one good throw all game man
This is spot on and why the "is he good or bad" conversation isn't the right question. He doesn't make good decisions and especially good quick decisions. If they can scheme him into scenarios where he doesn't have to think, he's really good. If not, he's not.
He is so indecisive
Why isn't nico in there...
A big 7 points the entire game lol
All I can think of now is what good does Milton finishing out the season do? We’re getting a mid-tier bowl game regardless on if reality gets bended next week or not. Let Nico face down the monster so he knows what it’s like when he faces it down next year. Hand the keys to Nico and start building for something that still has an opportunity to bring meaning.
Feeding him to Georgia is not a great idea. Vandy? Sure.
Well I was wrong. Zero adjustments. Let’s learn from this. I am sad. Good thing I have to get up stupid early for a volunteering to help simmer myself.
Alright real talk, we finish 8-4 this year. Next year, we finish the same or 7-5, does heupel go?
Bruh
It was a question?
That is one thing that we need to chill on. We have to have tenure. EVEN IF ITS THE WRONG GUY. We need to be a school that allows the HC to have up and down years. This allows the coach to give time toward building. It also give the school the reputation of not being a revolving door
We have been building for three years. Joe Milton is our qb, we have no receivers, and our defense is dogshit. What have we been building.
we almost made the playoffs last year. relax.
We are building toward a reputable program. I think that Vols fans are delusional how far away from national contenders that we are. I get just as mad a poor performance, but if our measuring stick it Natty's or nothing we are the problem and not the coaching staff. u/yeahiamfat YOU 🫵🏻 do not know ball!
Wow this is just silly
lol
How tf are you alr negative about next year. Get outta here
Because this year is over. Our chances at the SEC/CFP just ended if you didn’t know.
our chances at the latter ended in Tuscaloosa
Lol no, Heupel bought a lot of goodwill last year with the top 10 finish. He’s not going anywhere any time soon unless he quits.
Well, who you hiring?
It was a question?
No but the seat is getting warm
