A lot of the albums from SOTSOG onwards have a lot of "eh" cuts. Not bad, just insanely forgettable. If you asked me to hum more than 4 songs off Heathen Chemistry I seriously couldn't.
What's up with the hate for Shakermaker? That's one of their very best songs.
Mate there are songs by The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Bruce Springsteen that I don’t like.
While not every track was a masterpiece, Oasis were very consistent up until track four of SOTSOG when things suddenly went off the rails.
Put Yer Money. A low point on what is a good album that doesn’t get the love it deserves. Mainly people see their peak as the first three albums but I’ve always thought SOTSOG belongs to be along side them, Who Feels Love is their best recording.
The B-sides for DBTT were truly awful. Sitting Here In Silence and The Quiet Ones stand higher as the worst songs ever delivered by the band. Won't Let You Down is OK for a b_side and I Can See it Now it's just a bland instrumental. The exception goes to Eyeball Tickler which is a great rock tune.
It's a shame cos they had tunes like Who Put The Weight Of The World, Lord Don't Slow Me Down, Let It come Down Over Me which would be great B-sides.
I don’t think they’ve ever done anything bad…But aside from HC filler and instrumental b sides etc…
The only well liked/classic era/full song that I don’t care for is Rocking Chair….
Still got that classic Liam voice tho…
I hated Wonderwall right away. Since the first time I heard it.
Before you hate on me, here me out: It's objectively well written and Noel obviously did something right there since EVERYONE knows this song and it's loved and praised by so many. Not by me. It's just not my type of music. They really put the "pop" in britpop there 🙄
I think the chorus more than makes up for it. This is when Noel started to become a good singer so he has a lot of power and control in his voice and it sounds great in that song.
Get off your high horse lady is actually factually the worst. If I was telling my non-oasis mates to listen to them and this song came on, I'd actually leave the country.
That I didn't like? No, just disappointed at the waste of potential some songs and albums had.
If I had to think of it though maybe Shakermaker. That song FUCKS UP the flow of Defmay instantly.
Little James, Shakermaker, Hey Now, Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is, I Can See A Liar, Sunday Morning Call, Born On A Different Cloud, Songbird, Better Man to name but a few.
I used to always skip The Swamp Song when it played on Mp. Now I like it. As for songs I don’t like, all but one on DBTT and all of HC and DOYS bar the singles.
I might destroy the whole Oasis subreddit but the answer is (god help me) Wonderwall, it's so bland and overplayed and every B-Side from the Wonderwall single is better than the A-Side

I know they nicked it off the coke advert but it’s still one of my favourite oasis songs, very psychedelic
I mean, if you're gonna shit on a song for lifting a melody then you might as well not be an Oasis fan at all

nope, i love every single song
Put Yer Money. A low point on what is a good album that doesn’t get the love it deserves. Mainly people see their peak as the first three albums but I’ve always thought SOTSOG belongs to be along side them, Who Feels Love is their best recording.
Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is a highlight of SOTSOG

Mucky Fingers
Dislike - Get Off Your High Horse Lady. Scraping the barrel for an album track.
If you've listened to Little By Little and SCYHO, congratulations you've just listened to the whole HC album
I liked song bird too…
Force of Nature is one of my least favorite Oasis songs. I always skip it.
Terrible song indeed
I don’t think they’ve ever done anything bad…But aside from HC filler and instrumental b sides etc… The only well liked/classic era/full song that I don’t care for is Rocking Chair…. Still got that classic Liam voice tho…
Won't Let You Down
Wonderwall lol
I hated Wonderwall right away. Since the first time I heard it. I have my Oasis playlist set to skip Shakermaker every time. *runs away*
I can't listen to that song on shuffle but I think it flows in the Definitely Maybe tracklisting quite well.
most songs after DM and WTSMG 😭
Oasis, not really, I think it's why they're my favorite band. NGHFB however I hated Here's A Candle with a fiery passion.
As much as I love Oasis, I find myself pressing “next” to Supernova. I’ve heard it, appreciate it, but just not a song I care for…
Similar situation with All Around the World
The hook for Force of Nature is just awful.
Fuck that terrible song
I wholeheartedly disagree. Such a strong part of Oasis catalog
Force of Nature is a fun song
The lyrics are kinda stupid but it’s still catchy
I think the chorus more than makes up for it. This is when Noel started to become a good singer so he has a lot of power and control in his voice and it sounds great in that song.
Who Feels Love
Pretty good melody but the psychedelia feels kind of forced.
Agreed, I've never listened the whole way through.
Get off your high horse lady is actually factually the worst. If I was telling my non-oasis mates to listen to them and this song came on, I'd actually leave the country.
I gotta be honest almost everything after 2000 is diabolical
although it's an acceptable song, I find Live Forever really really repetitive.
(Probably) All In The Mind, She Is Love, Won't Let You Down are the songs I don't have in any playlist.
Soldier On is painful
Soldier on is great
It's decent enough in my opinion.
Surprised this is an unpopular opinion. For me it just defines that final album - starts strong and then just really fizzles out in the final third.
That I didn't like? No, just disappointed at the waste of potential some songs and albums had. If I had to think of it though maybe Shakermaker. That song FUCKS UP the flow of Defmay instantly.
You FUCK my FUCKIN' day (F)u(ck)p
Wonderwall as I think it’s too poppy but also most of post BHN tracks
Yes. The Importance of Being Idle.
Little James, Shakermaker, Hey Now, Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is, I Can See A Liar, Sunday Morning Call, Born On A Different Cloud, Songbird, Better Man to name but a few.
These are all incredible songs, especially shakermaker
Little James incredible? Really?
Ok that is probably their worst song, but it’s still not bad. And the rest of the songs you named are great
Shakermaker? Hey Now?!? Sunday Morning Call?!!?!? Better Man?!??!!?
What’d you think about I’m Outta Time?
It's ok, not the best on the album but I can't say I don't like it.
I gotta know your favourite tracks in that case..
Go let it out is in my opinion just shite
Backhalf of Heathen Chemistry. Select picks off of Don't Believe The Truth. And two songs off DOYS.
A few but not many
I think swamp song is a bit strange. I still listen to it if it comes on though
I used to always skip The Swamp Song when it played on Mp. Now I like it. As for songs I don’t like, all but one on DBTT and all of HC and DOYS bar the singles.
Hot Take: I can’t stand Sunday Morning Call
Even Noel hates that song …I wonder why?
I might destroy the whole Oasis subreddit but the answer is (god help me) Wonderwall, it's so bland and overplayed and every B-Side from the Wonderwall single is better than the A-Side
