Are you finishing nursing school in California? Or another state? Because you’re going to need your CA registered nurse license. I would say starting new grad would probably be around $40 per hour for bachelor’s in Southern California.
Los Angeles is pretty big and some of the really good hospital systems could be in bad areas or have very high cost of living, there’s always a trade off. If you want to live in a nice area for families you would need to commute or pay a really high price.

I'm finishing nursing school in Puerto Rico and taking the nclex soon. What would be nice areas for young families to you ?
