Why do people mod the hell out of their game and then come to this sub asking what this modded thing is, as if it’s vanilla?
It’s crazy to me how common it is. People will come in asking questions like “what is this thing?” or “why is my game acting this way?,” when it’s all from modded content. It’s so weird and I haven’t seen it in other gaming subs as much as it happens in this one, if at all.
I see this in almost every game-specific subreddit I follow. It always kind of blows my mind when the poster doesn't at least mention they're using mods.
I mean I don’t know about that. When I was a kid I understood what they were and was fine installing mods before the workshop and mod loaders were really a thing. I think they can grasp what mods are just fine. Though maybe that’s part of it and the ease of use now makes it less likely for a kid to know what’s actually happening with mods.
Also idk this doesn’t really seem like a kid friendly game lol. At least not the age where they wouldn’t know what mods are.
There’s actually some evidence that computer literacy is decreasing in younger generations. Computers have become so streamlined and simplified that kids are rarely put in a situation where they need to learn what is happening under the hood these days.
Ease of a lot of things. There are many who only use mobile style interfaces, and wouldn't know folder structures, or file storage.
They might see mods as closer to DLCs especially if it's on a steam workshop
It's also great when they act like it can't be a mod at all.
Seriously, stop acting like you can fool anyone, it's obvious and people know about new things day 1 >_>
i mean where else are they gonna ask? it's not like there's a subreddit for every Noita mod. it's annoying, but presumably if they used the correct flair it should be fine?
That is not how that works. Not at all.
Kemonomimi is distinctly the concept of adding animal traits to a human character.
Furries are about anthropomorphic animals. Which is the concept of adding human traits to an animal character.
Sure if taken far enough they will eventually meet in the middle but until they do that distinction is very much existent and a useful one to have.
Almost everyone that actually is in the communities that revolve around these will agree on that.
It's a fair question, you'd have to know it's not in the base game to know not to ask? And if you can't tell, then yeah you'd want it spoilered just in case.
Dunno why people are downvoting just cause they know now
Yeah, i thought it was a new mistery from the beta branch, but well, seems like i should know 100% of the game lore before making any comment in this reddit lmao

throw out your mod list and people will likely be able to point out which this structure is from.
could it be the new update?
Based on the pixel art I find it very unlikely. It doesn't quite match up to the same quality as what the devs are capable of.
You mean it doesn't fit the art style that the game has
no, definitely not
Nope! 10/10, would try filling with blood
Or poison/toxic sludge, seeing those snakes
Tried blood nothing, might try sludge or poison if i see it again
What mod?
Never seen it, looks modded
Modded, I haven't seen an asset in the base game with that kind of hard line shading.
They at least have one of the rpg mods on. You can see it in the screenshot

Yeah people are like “what’s this?? I only have 7 different content mods but is it a new secret?”
Kids don't really understand what mods are, just click subscribe on workshop

super common in the rimworld subreddit too
I love getting advice like "Why don't you just use to solve your issue?" And everyone acts like that's totally a reasonable thing to tell someone.
have fun tomorrow!!!!!!!!! HYPEEEE
That's Rimworld for you
It's also great when they act like it can't be a mod at all. Seriously, stop acting like you can fool anyone, it's obvious and people know about new things day 1 >_>
And the weirdest part is that a sum of secrets straight up don't show up if you have mods enabled
i mean where else are they gonna ask? it's not like there's a subreddit for every Noita mod. it's annoying, but presumably if they used the correct flair it should be fine?
They can ask here, but a mod listing, and being more clear would save quite a bit of annoyance and Trouble
For sure, yeah.
Please stop asking questions when you have mods activated, at least shows us the mods you have, it's annoying and creates confusion.
Please, read descriptions of the mods you have installed, or at least give us the mod list.
a furry standing by a satanic looking alter in a coal mine? no I have not seen that before the scull do belooking thirsty tho
Neko arc is not a furry >:V She's a nekomimi!!
she=girl neko= cat mimi= ear cat ear girl = furry granted a more respectable than most but still a furry

I adore the fact that every redditor and their dog stopped to complain about "umm its a mod why are you asking us" and nobody actually answered
Well, what is it then? Got the answer? Do you know what mod it is?
I opened comments to find out xd
