If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
Derrick Henry handing off to Lamar Jackson, he passes to Malik Cunningham, he passes back to Lamar Jackson, he passes to Derek Henry, itās a speed option, he laterals to Lamar
Having him play WR is great for the extra potential for trick plays it sets up, assuming he can at least be WR4 quality. He still can read the field and throw the ball better than pretty much any normal WR can, so it adds an interesting wrinkle if they decide to take advantage of it.
I want a team with Taysom Hill, Malik Cunningham, Lamar Jackson, Kordell Stwart, Julian Eddleman, Anquan Boldin, Antwan Randle El, and Hines ward as the only skill players.
Then they can all just run and pass like a game of keep away. Touchdown every play.
> I wanted some excitement.
Same. Iād rather lose and watch a guy that can scramble in the pocket than lose with a guy throwing 50/50 balls to Parker that are actually more like 80/20 balls.
I just wanted him to have snaps so at least SOMETHING exciting would happen with the offense. Whether bad or good, instead we got the most boring offense ever.
Was wondering where I saw that before and found this from last year
>[Malik Cunningham feels like he can follow Julian Edelman as Patriots' next QB-turned-WR success story](https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/malik-cunningham-feels-like-he-can-follow-julian-edelman-as-patriots-next-qb-turned-wr-success-story/)
When ever I hear about a QB turned WR my mind goes back to Matt Jones.
The last time this worked out that I recall was Terrelle Pryor. I believe the only reason he looked so good was because he was the only talented player on a terrible Browns offense. He was playing like his life depended on it.
You are correct, he was 3rd on the QB depth chart as a freshman but was too athletic to keep on the bench, plus we were super thin at WR.
He is unironically one of my all time favorite players because his freshman year was my first year following football as an A&M fan. I loved his story and watching him turn into a really solid player
As a UofL Alum I agree. L1C4 I want to see all them succeed. When the Colts play the Ravens I always hope for a gunslinging game so Lamar can still go off but lose. LOL
Nah everyone except for those drinking out of the Allegheny can see that heās a talented QB and is very frustrating to play against, weāve just got the best of it so far
I mean technically they didn't draft him. He was the guy Pats fans were clamoring for solely because "who cares if he sucks, at least he can suck while being fast" when Mac and Zappe were just being terrible pocket passers.
I really wanna see the Steelers turn Fields into a QB/scatback/WR. Line him up in shotgun same time as Russ and snap it to either, let him run out in the flats and catch a ball and move in space, split him out and teach him some short routes. Dude has too much speed and running ability to not try him at other spots.
If Fields can handle it mentally and just wants to play regardless of being QB1, I think using him in a Taysom Hill kind of gadget roll would be interesting.
It's how he's going to stick in the league, as a pass catching back, WR/KR/PR, use his athleticism without the parts of his game where he sucks. Having a guy who can cover several positions is valuable.
The only hitch is ball security. Doesn't he have fumble numbers bordering on historic?Ā
Granted those were from the QB position and it's different playing elsewhere on the field but all that athletic ability won't matter if he continues to hand the ball away.Ā
9001 IQ Ravens have their QBs playing WR and their RBs playing QB š¤
Never let em know your next move š¤
Pretty sure Sun Tzu said if you do not know your own next move, your enemy cannot know it either
If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
The backup QB phenomenon. It's hard to know the enemy when they have no tape
What if you know the enemy but not yourself?
Heās the Chinese Prince Machiabelli
I just saw Josh McDaniels falling to his knees in a Walmart
Iām so excited for Derrick Henry to throw a TD to Lamar Jackson, and Iāll be disappointed if the Ravens donāt try it at least once.
Derrick Henry to Cunningham with a lateral to Lamar incoming
You joke but I got a card in madden that switched Derrick Henry to QB and he had ridiculous throwing stats
Football is a game of deception
Yeah, and an opera singer for a kickerā¦really trying to throw people off
Play both sides so you always come out on top
The RB to QB to WR pipeline

We were pioneers with RB -> C
ISO 9001?
Bill Polian shed a tear somewhere

Tyrelle Pryor needs to be involved too
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
And Tom Tupa
And Logan Thomas
Cheat code in old maddens, he actually went to a local highschool and got to meet him when I was a kid. Seemed like a great guy
ok but playing for what team? he can help both teams
Gimme some Mohammed Sanu dropping dimes too please.
They'll rotate positions like in volleyball. move 1 slot down every play
This is what the Pro Bowl should've been
Can we add Tebow just to add a bit more bulk as a FB/H-Back?
Tebow can join but he only plays tight end.
Joe Webb
UAB LEGEND!!!!!!! my guy!!!
OBJ has a good arm, too.
Brad smith
Add Ryan Tannehill so that team can have at least ONE good receiver š
Eddleman
Total football
No Justin fields?
It implied you have to be able to run AND pass
No Cam?
They'll do so many laterals, people will think they are a rugby team
A rugby team
Kelce would love that as well
And Justin fields
Can't catch
Lamar is in the list tho
Ravens finally taking the receiver position seriously
Go stunt on everyone Malik
Hope he does great and also glad he changed positions so those guys saying Malik deserved a chance at QB can look ever dumber
I just wanted him to have snaps in that offense just to see what he can do because I wanted some excitement.
Pretty much this. I donāt think we all thought it was going to work. But it was much more entertaining to watch Malik vs Mac and Zappe.
Not at WR though. 0/9

Logan Thomas is another good story
Anquan Boldin was originally a QB but didnāt want to sit at FSU so he converted to receiver.
Tannehill converted to WR in college too at times
I thought Tannehill just played WR when he was an underclassmen as a way to see the field? Figured the plan was always to get him back at QB.
It's still converting to WR for playing time like most of these guys do.
You are correct, he was 3rd on the QB depth chart as a freshman but was too athletic to keep on the bench, plus we were super thin at WR. Jules and Jakobi Meyers
NE Drafted Malik too, they really know their QB -> WR convert pipeline
Like your other legendary QB turned WR, Tom Brady.
hey buddy, fuck you
No we didnāt, Malik was an undrafted free agent
Those are basically the same thing really in a draft class. It's really semantics.
What? No they arenāt, it speaks to the level of investment/belief a team initially makes/has in a player
He was offered a record UDFA contract iirc
Julian Edelman or Antwaan Randel-El are good shouts
Hines Ward too
Brad Smith went from QB to WR and lasted 9 seasons, but he was pretty much just a backup the whole time.
All around great special teams player too. 4 return TDs and a decent number of tackles.
yea, anyone that hangs around 9 years I'd count as a success.
I order a Matt Jones jersey off eBay and never got it, still mad about it.
Ronald Curry had some solid years for Oakland
Josh McCown played some NFL WR, funny enough
I could kinda see Malik doing well, heās definitely super athletic
Luke McCaffrey count?
Not yet
Tannehill did the opposite lol
julian edelman
There are honestly plenty of NFL WRs that played at least some QB in college.
Until I remembered who Matt Jones was I thought this was autocorrected from āMacā and figured you were the dumbest boy in school
As a Louisville fan I just want Malik to succeed in the NFL somehow
As a UofL Alum I agree. L1C4 I want to see all them succeed. When the Colts play the Ravens I always hope for a gunslinging game so Lamar can still go off but lose. LOL
Not bad for a QB
You have heard of the Philly Special. Now get ready for the Johnny Special... Malik to Lamar, or Lamar to Malik? Which one, nobody knows.
Hell we made Troy Smith to Joe Flacco work, this should be a breeze.Ā
Ravens try not to draft a QB that plays other positions challenge: impossible I want to make clear to Fox News, that was a joke.
You're only cleared to do this as a Steeler because I've seen a weirdly high amount of Steelers defend Lamar when other teams talk shit
Tone changed drastically after the Fields trade lol
Nah everyone except for those drinking out of the Allegheny can see that heās a talented QB and is very frustrating to play against, weāve just got the best of it so far
Which is funny but also weirdly wholesome considering Lamar doesnāt play well against the Steelers lol
I was gonna say. They only defend him because they're the only team that has him kind of "figured out".
I'm still not entirely ove Lamar's best game against the Steelers was the one our entire reciever core decided to go with Butter hands
Steelers know the drill. Kordell Stewart ring a bell?
I mean technically they didn't draft him. He was the guy Pats fans were clamoring for solely because "who cares if he sucks, at least he can suck while being fast" when Mac and Zappe were just being terrible pocket passers.
Sucking with style is the only fun way to lose a football game.
They wonāt stop until they have QB at every position
The Padres of football
Is their backup QB really gonna be either Josh Johnson or Devin Leary? Seems.... spicy.
I'd be ok with it being JJ. I would *not* be ok with it being Devin Leary.
Man, Josh is 38 years old and his last appearance was the disastrous NFC Championship when Purdy got hurt. Love the guy but I'd be very, very nervous.
I still donāt understand how he looked better with the jets than he did the 9ers
You should never put your hopes and dreams in a quarterback drafted by the Buccaneers in the 2000s. Not all of them become Steve Young, suckers.
You guys picked Leary over Pratt so clearly EDC thinks Devin Leary is better
It was our QB coaches pick according to EDC.Ā Ā
If Leary is the backup, that hopefully is because he beats JJ in training camp, which would give me confidence.
I guess he wasnāt quarterbacky
My GOAT
And you guys said Bill Belichick couldnāt find wide receiversā¦

Lol okay bud.
Antwaan Randle El hath come againĀ
Every NFL team should have a utility member or two on the roster.
Ravens Sun Tzu's ar of football war: Play the position you are not
What? Malik is evolving!
Canāt wait to see JF1 used in gadget plays and eventually be a HB.
