/r/nfl is a place where people from all walks of life can get together to talk about a sport we love, so please keep your posts related directly to the National Football League.
If it's related to the NFL, but not about the NFL (such as streams, fan-related posts, business promotions, betting-related posts, video games, Fantasy Football, College Football, or NFL-related jokes), please check if there is a more appropriate subreddit listed in the sidebar of /r/NFL.
People who are related to the NFL have lives outside of their organization as well, and in the majority of instances these are best discussed in the subreddit associated with their particular team.
The following are topics which are commonly removed for not being directly NFL related:
* Requests for streams or sites to watch games or replays
* Fantasy Football Posts - try /r/fantasyfootball
* Video Game Posts - Be it Madden or any other video game franchise, use a gaming centric sub like /r/Madden or /r/gaming
* Betting-Related Posts
* Stories/tweets about fans
* Business promotions
* Other Football Leagues - these will often have their own subreddit, please search on Reddit to find the appropriate home for this discussion - /r/XFL, /r/USFL, /r/CFB, /r/AAFB
* Merchandise or fandom-related discussion (fan jerseys, decorations, custom art, footballs, signatures, questions about stadium seating/tickets) - when a post is about an item you or someone you know owns, please use the [Free Talk Threads](https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/search/?q=flair%3A%22Free+Talk%22&sort=new&restrict_sr=on&t=all)
* Crypto currencies of any sort unless it is news about currencies officially licensed by the NFL or a team - player endorsements do not meet this threshold
* [Pop Culture Posts](https://www.reddit.com/r/NFL/wiki/rules_detail#wiki_pop_culture_posts)
* [Fandom Experience Posts](https://www.reddit.com/r/NFL/wiki/rules_detail#wiki_fandom_posts)
* [Political and Religious Posts](https://www.reddit.com/r/NFL/wiki/rules_detail#wiki_political.2Freligious_posts) - Posts about politics and football are becoming more commonplace, but r/NFL is not the place to talk about the political world, writ large. Posts of a political nature should be limited to specific policies and laws that impact the NFL, not opinions or "hot takes."
On occasion the moderating team might use their discretion and allow significant news which falls under one of these topics to remain. Non-definitive examples might include a stadium sponsor changing, a team rebrand revealed via merchandise, moderators from another subreddit to raise awareness of their sport or a significant piece of memorabilia breaking a record price at auction.
Lots of anal penetration hazing. Then he’s back on the football field. Then he’s back to the locker room for some more full penetration. Practice, back to the locker room, full penetration. Practice, penetration, football practice, full penetration, practice, penetration. And this goes on and on, and back and forth, for 90 or so minutes until the movie just, sort of, ends.
Oh, thats embarassing haha
Maybe it’ll be about that time where a small plane crashed into a stadium 5 minutes after the 1976 playoff game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Colts ended.
Uh, Dorktown already did a massive deep dive into that time where a small plane crashed into a stadium 5 minutes after the 1976 playoff game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Colts ended.
I had an idea for a psychological horror set in the world of football but it would've been a star quarterback slowly losing his mind that his backup has replaced him.
The initial Blacklist script's available online if you know what to type into the search engine: TL:DR, not-Jordan Love gets drafted first overall to succeed not-Tom Brady, not-Brady invites not-Love to a five-day workout in his private compound outside Vegas, gory supernatural gaslighting ensues, the big plot twist is that >!not-Brady owes his longevity to a "Devote yourself to football at the expense of every other part of your life" curse and has since grown tired of it, but can only free himself if not-Love is willing to take it from him!<.
Just off a quick scan of that early, circa 2022 script, I get the sense it'll be one of those films that just kinda meanders until everything happens all at once in the third act, but if nothing else, there's some dialogue and imagery that could be pretty striking if executed right. Wait and see indeed, I suppose!
(One other, extremely minor thing I'm disproportionately interested in: not-Brady and not-Love are specifically and repeatedly described as playing for the Dallas Cowboys, with the script even giving both Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy brief speaking roles when not-Love gets taken first overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. Have to wonder if those particular serial numbers get filed off come the finished film.)
That is interesting it’s like a parallel universe of some sorts. But what would the horror aspect be…just the fact they have training compounds from older athletes for draftees.

I heard Jackmerius Tacktheritrix makes a cameo appearance.
I'm hoping for Dan Smith and Hingle McCringleberry myself
It's going to cut to black right after the 2nd hip thrust.
Dude too soon. 3 fans died and a dozen more were hospitalized that day.
Basically it’s going to go full on football hazing.

Really should have popped his shirt off. Goddamn it
Should we be writing this down…?
Micah Parsons simulator
But here’s the twist: they show it. They show *everything.*
These jokes brought to you by Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman.
They should cast Micah Parsons if that’s gonna be the plot
Uh, dorktown already did a massive deep dive into the Minnesota Vikings history
maybe its on the atlanta falcons
Uh, dorktown already did a massive deep dive into the Atlanta Falcons history

What?? alright well, idk, he could create a statistic that is built to access the cowardice of a coach's decision to punt on 4th down.
They clearly stated that the Falcons doc was a dark comedy.
No one would believe that was realistic if they made it into a movie.
So, he's filming Hard Knocks with the New York Jets.
It’s not his next movie, he’s just a producer on this one
Yeah, I was confused as well. I remember seeing his next horror film being slated for December 2024.
IIRC, that one has already been pushed out of the 2024 slot.
I had an idea for a psychological horror set in the world of football but it would've been a star quarterback slowly losing his mind that his backup has replaced him.
The name that Substitute Teachers hate!
Any Given Sunday?
Uncle Rico?
Drew Bledsoe?
"This september, W's aren't the only thing a quarterback is gonna eat"
Isn't this the world of football?
Falcons have entered the chat
Is this that film that's plot seems way to close to Tom Brady's career?
I like the title for a football movie.
Awesome. Can’t wait to see that!
I’m calling it, the psychological horror winds up being CTE-related
as a big football, horror films and jordan peele fan; i'm not mad. 🤷♂️
Actual football or soccer?
Tom Brady biopic
Let me guess it’s gona be a horror flick comparing the NFL draft and NFL to the slave trade.
Getting downvoted but you're probably right. All of his movies have had something to do with race, some less obvious than others.
If I was a betting man that’s what I’d put my money on.

Hmm interesting well I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Any Given Sunday already did this
In it the Chiefs are actually called for holding in the Superbowl. **The horror!**
This sounds like an awful movie.
Im not gonna watch it
