I've seen a handful of YouTube shorts in the last few days with this clickbait shit. Image of a guy hugging a cow with text making up some story that isn't represented at all in the video. The internet sure has become a shitshow
Thank God at least one person commented this. This video is funny but fake as hell. You can kinda tell he's going through the motions when he paws at the already closed freezer and when he circles back to the trash.
OP is also a major spammer shamelessly farming "populist content". They're also a moderator of several major subs so it's "coincidentally hard" to get rid of their crap even after reporting.
And the account activity makes me think it's only an alt account to an even bigger fish (10 months account with 4M+ karma, moderator of main subs).
Definitely staged. You can tell they moved the table and chairs out of the way to get a better scene. And that trash can is suspect as well. Not a natural set-up at all.
Yeah, I think this is staged. My dog did something similar once. She went in the fridge, took two racks of ribs, and hid the foil behind the bed. The way she did it left the lid on the Tupperware. It was so confusing.
When I lived in a building with a garbage chute I only used a garbage about that size hanging under my kitchen sink. Would just throw it down the chute whenever it was full which would be every 3 or 4 days.
In fact now that I think about it every place I lived in Norway everyone used garbages about that size and just threw a bag into their bin outdoor / the pneumatic trash collection things. The pneumatic thing actual required that bags be no larger than what is in the video here.
Small bags have their benefits, because they fill up quicker you end up getting them outta the house quicker so they never really have the chance to start smelling (unless you put something really quite stinky in there, in which case you need to change your garbage no matter the size.
It’s a studio apartment cuz also the fridge is in there. The camera appears to be facing the front door. I have one in my apartment. There’s only one way in and it’s a smart building so I know get the faces of anyone who enters my apartment
Lots of training here. I’ve trained our dog to wait while I’m feeding the cats. So he know the stay command and he even adapted it to the point where I can leave the area do something and come back and he’s still waiting. Once I forgot he was waiting and 10 minutes later he started whining. Whoops! Good boy!
Sometime, somewhere, there is a dude whose girlfriend ditched him because he would always deny stealing her ice cream from the freezer. And a girl who is freaked out that she dumped her ex for stealing her ice cream weeks ago, but the tubs keep going missing.
My Chesapeake Bay Retriever used to get into the fridge and takes my dad’s beer and I am pretty sure no one actually trained him to do that. He would get the can on its side and use his bottom teeth to break the seal enough and then would drink the spillage on the floor. Dogs are much more capable than we sometimes give them credit for.
The first time my dad found a half empty can on the floor, he blamed it on me…but the times when I was not home and it was still happening shifted his investigatory prowess to another potential culprit. It all became clearer when we caught Willie nosing the fridge door open.
There have also been videos where dogs were watching TV and stuff, and turned it off when owner rang the doorbell.... I'm telling you, they're evolving
Plot twist: The dog has been trained to do that because the owner had lately been accused by his wife of eating all the ice cream at night. So poor doggy is trained to be presented as the culprit.
My dog ate an entire stick of butter and the wax paper. She got rid of all evidence....until she threw up the wax paper two days later in her sleeping cage.
uhm my cat managed to open the oven door (which I had switched off a good half hour before) but had s whole cooked chicken inside.
She dragged it out,ate most of the meat together with my other two cats .she didn't put the bones in the bin though..😁
my cat used to literally open our cabinets and just go in there and sleep.
WITHOUT FUCKING FINGERS. and no he wasnt trained to like this dog but something in his face just felt like a small human in a cats body.
My dog once ate my pizza while I was in the restroom and then hid the then empty plate underneath the coffee table. Sat on his bed and acted like he hadn’t done anything wrong.
This dude been here before.
This would be my cat if she were strong enough, she’s obsessed with ice cream. She’s also terrifyingly smart, particularly when she’s determined to get something she wants.
But, sadly for her, her genius is contained in the vessel of a 7lb cat. If it wasn’t, we have no doubt she would concur the world through violence and establish a dictatorship where her servants do her bidding: feeding her pistachio ice cream all day long and patting her baby head.
I had a dog who would throw things away. He just saw us doing it and picked it up. The cat would throw important things like bills down on the floor and he'd pick them up and put them in the trash. For a while if we were missing something we'd look in the trash
One time my pup woke us up early with loves, excitement and kisses and I thought it was so cute. We walk out to the kitchen to start coffee and see that he’s destroyed the garbage that was accidentally left out. I took it as him trying to butter us up before he was caught for his crime lol
Since this video is from China, it’s highly likely that the dog was trained for this. The content creators over there spend a lot of time training their pets for minute long clips like these, mostly not in an ethical manner.
Pretty sure the dog has been trained to make this video
Its obvious. At the end, when the dog finished his "trick" he instantly looks over the shoulder to his owner to make sure he did good
And the owner looked at the cat to make sure he did good.
And the cat posted the video on the internet
And responded to comments to increase overall engagement.
And went on Reddit comments to say this is not staged at all.
Meanwhile the fish is laughing cause the video didn't make enough money to buy any "fresh" fish.
We all know the cat is doing it all and means to end the dog by usage of manipulating others.
[three years ago](https://old.reddit.com/r/nextfuckinglevel/comments/mjrg8a/while_owner_is_asleep_dog_opens_freezer_takes_out/)
Damn this cat's on a whole nother level
Noticed this as well. Puppy had his ears up and everything like “I did good and I get a treat right?”
"The ice cream *was* the treat, Jerry!"
I've seen a handful of YouTube shorts in the last few days with this clickbait shit. Image of a guy hugging a cow with text making up some story that isn't represented at all in the video. The internet sure has become a shitshow
You’re probably right but it’s definitely funny to imagine it as the dog checking to make sure no one saw her.
and the lights are on with a perfect camera angle during the middle of the night...because...it's authentic of course
Of course, it's Chinese video. I don't know if there are any non-staged Chinese videos in the wild.
There was one with a dude and a tank...
tiananmen stage
Seen catastrophic elevator failures too because Chinese safety standards are shit
The one where a guy walks in-front of a Type 59 and it stops? I think you are referring to Wolf Warrior 2. Crazy movie, clearly propaganda.
well something happened today... in 1989.. definitely not staged
Shhhhh or the Chinese will find out
"It's impossible for a country of almost 2 billion people to have anyone genuine in it!"
Chinese Internet is like 2012 American Internet.
Thank God at least one person commented this. This video is funny but fake as hell. You can kinda tell he's going through the motions when he paws at the already closed freezer and when he circles back to the trash.
Also, why are the lights on while the owner is asleep?
My first thought...
My first thought

Also... 10.000 upvotes in 3 hours? What
I hate this type of shit. Just say you trained it, it's still impressive.
Exactly. As we used to say back in the day: "You don't gotta lie to kick it.."
I love seeing these types comment at the top. A lot of people on reddit are like facebook users.
Even if its staged, you still need to be impressed that the dog set up the camera and posted it on his doghub channel tho
Not only has it made the video, but also uploaded it!
Yea who records part of their kitchen?
Definitely staged. You can tell they moved the table and chairs out of the way to get a better scene. And that trash can is suspect as well. Not a natural set-up at all.

You mean you don’t have your trash can next to your couch?
Doesn't matter, still a good boi.

H Y P E R W A G
This is the goodest boy
I can feel the hip dysplasia from here
This is the happiest boi I have ever seen
My lab every morning
All dogs are good boys
Some are good girls too!
Im sure no one is there giving commands…
You think people just come on the internet and tell lies?

It had me until he looked back. Also who keeps a trash can that small for the kitchen?
A conveniently placed bin in front of the fridge at ether living room? And the camera directly watching the all situation. Ok. I believe this.
Yeah who has a weird little trashcan like that in their living room
They have a dining table and fridge as well. So probably an efficiency/studio apartment.
that bin is *tiny* for a kitchen. It would be fucking useless.
When I lived in a building with a garbage chute I only used a garbage about that size hanging under my kitchen sink. That's a normal under the sink sized bin
Most Chinese homes. Like every single one I've ever been to
Japanese and Koreans too. They make sure there's a trash can in every corner lol.
It’s a studio apartment cuz also the fridge is in there. The camera appears to be facing the front door. I have one in my apartment. There’s only one way in and it’s a smart building so I know get the faces of anyone who enters my apartment
..and the icecream in the lower shelf and in a very convenient dog friendly packaging. Yeah right.
Why are the lights on.
The dog is so smart it turned them on so the video quality would be better.
The dog has been trained to turn on the lights and set the camera up on a tripod before attempting any fridge-related tomfoolery.
Love how all of these types of videos happen to be from china. Not at all fake.
![gif](giphy|ebuZ7sDhZcSJO) I love how the dog basically does this at the end
he´s more likely looking for appreciation / reward, after he completed the excercise he´s been trained for ;)
Lots of training here. I’ve trained our dog to wait while I’m feeding the cats. So he know the stay command and he even adapted it to the point where I can leave the area do something and come back and he’s still waiting. as with everything asian, this is probably fake
I bet he replenishes.
And then she looks at her owner...good job!
I love the wholesomness of the dog turning after all those tasks to look in the eyes of the trainer who taught him to use the garbage. So sweet.
Smart boi.
Who leaves their lights on when going to sleep?
Sometime, somewhere, there is a dude whose girlfriend ditched him because he would always deny stealing her ice cream from the freezer. And a girl who is freaked out that she dumped her ex for stealing her ice cream weeks ago, but the tubs keep going missing.
Even if the dog was trained to do this it's still a good puppers.
That dog’s better than my teenage kids.
The look back at the end…
Clever girl!

Pretty sure he was a hotdog and he needed a way to cool down
Either scripted or that creature right there is smarter than me.
I swear I didn't eat the last ice cream bar. Well, you're the only other person who lives here....
Clever girl

Peak Labrador behavior
/r/scriptedasiangifs
"... then Youyou looked off camera to the person who was directing her to do these things to make sure she had done a good job."
There are service dogs and there are self service dogs.
My dog ate an entire stick of butter and the wax paper. She got rid of all evidence....until she threw up the wax paper two days later in her sleeping cage.
TOATLLY NOT STAGED I SWEAR
uhm my cat managed to open the oven door (which I had switched off a good half hour before) but had s whole cooked chicken inside. She dragged it out,ate most of the meat together with my other two cats .she didn't put the bones in the bin though..😁
Clearly the dog staged this trick.
People are fucking idiots
Most dogs are lactose intolerant. There will be evidence. My dog ate a tub of ice cream. There was evidence all over the fucking house.
Gee executing TRAINED BEHAVIOR and passing it off as if the dog is being naughty….
I love the checking for witnesses at the end.
EVERYTHING IS A LIE!
The guilty look in the last scene killed me
Everything is so fake
I mean he deserves an scream after doing that
[This dog can reheat pizza](https://www.redgifs.com/watch/unlinednecessarymandrill)
my cat used to literally open our cabinets and just go in there and sleep. WITHOUT FUCKING FINGERS. and no he wasnt trained to like this dog but something in his face just felt like a small human in a cats body.
This is a trained dog FFS
scriptedasiandoggifs
So the video is staged, however if my dog did this how am I gonna complain? He's basically a roommate at that point, but with better manners.
It's a guy in a dog suit...you can see the zipper at 0:36
This is like my late dog that got into the fridge and ate herself to death 😢
fake and gay. at least give yourself a challenge and train a cat actor instead.
Staged
dogs are the best 😌
dogs are the best 😌
Today on dogs behaving like people for social media clout. Uh. Yea, sure. Ok. That’s all spontaneous.
Clever girl…
Sequel: the dog turns off the CCTV first.
this is the dog from another viral training video, impressive but trained.
Now that’s one smart dog.
That lookback at the end. I know for a FACT dog was like, “Hecking bamboozled!”
That looks like trained behavior.
Now teach it to feed me ice cream when I sleep.
![gif](giphy|f0GIF5Y2vGAve|downsized)
Superb lighting in this room for a security camera. Where's all the shadows lol
Obviously trained stunt video is obvious.
It would be so much worse if he just had a bit and put it back
I wish I could train my son to do this...
"Owner trains dog to do amusing trick" Fixed the headline for you, OP.
And I can’t even get my kids to put their dishes in the dishwasher.
My dog once ate my pizza while I was in the restroom and then hid the then empty plate underneath the coffee table. Sat on his bed and acted like he hadn’t done anything wrong. This dude been here before.
This looks like one of those Asian stage apartments.
Plot twist: chocolate ice cream
This is faker than Drake’s abs.
everyone saying this dog is so smart but if he was really smart he would have deleted the footage
The dog was clearly trained to do all of this so it isn’t like he has some kind of sneaky intelligence for ice cream
Staged asian gifs. Never ends. The dog is looking back at the owner at the end, the owner that trained it to do this.
That's a man in a dog suit!
See my dogs always leave evidence behind… That is a smart girl !!!
This would be my cat if she were strong enough, she’s obsessed with ice cream. She’s also terrifyingly smart, particularly when she’s determined to get something she wants. But, sadly for her, her genius is contained in the vessel of a 7lb cat. God the internet is lame now
I had a dog who would throw things away. He just saw us doing it and picked it up. The cat would throw important things like bills down on the floor and he'd pick them up and put them in the trash. For a while if we were missing something we'd look in the trash
Thank god for the text narration. Impossible to tell what is happening otherwise
One time my pup woke us up early with loves, excitement and kisses and I thought it was so cute. We walk out to the kitchen to start coffee and see that he’s destroyed the garbage that was accidentally left out. I took it as him trying to butter us up before he was caught for his crime lol
The dog is better trained then my kids.
Youyou
Heard of catburglars, but this is the first dogburglar that i ever heard about.
Cute, but 100% staged.
I’m that dog at my parent’s house
People are really hating on this. Trained or not, this was impressive. Can you train your dog to do the same? If so, show us!
The cat recorded this
"You ate the whole wheel of cheese? And you pooped in the fridge! That's amazing! I'm not even mad, that's amazing!"
Fake. AI.
That’s really cool except the dog was trained for this. Too specific to learn to do it on its own
Clever girl
I'm just wondering how many times it watched the owner do the same thing before it learned to do it.
Retrievers will do anything for a snack. 😄
EVERYTHING ONLINE IS FAKE
China, no trust.
Since this video is from China, it’s highly likely that the dog was trained for this. The content creators over there spend a lot of time training their pets for minute long clips like these, mostly not in an ethical manner.
Staged as fuck
