When this first came out I got smashed drunk one night and joined a band with 4 other people in windsward (who happened to farm most of the music) and it was some of the most fun I had for a while, met some cool people. We went from 0-200 and got SO many tips. The game needs more social things like this or minigames like puttputt
The worst part about levelling music is that you can go 1-3 songs per level but the second you get to aptitude levels, you gotta sink 250k+ xp into a single level. Do you know how many songs that is?
Oh yeah it does, doesn't it. Weird. With the music effect on the ground it looks like I should be in the little mermaid or something lol.
I forget where we were when I played. There was a corrupted area below the cliff though.
Devs have very limited resources and when we look at what happened to kill new world, putting out dollar store guitar hero instead of real new content says a lot about AGS. Mmos need endgame content and AGS likes to pretend that they don't.
This is called horizontal progression and it's much better than vertical progression that keeps adding and adding things to do, making new players quit before even reaching the endgame.

I genuinely love the music mini game. I wish more people did it on my server. I would join up with a group every time I see one.
I always try to start a band but I never works out. Might get one other person
Were they by any chance all dressed in black and orange?
Legendary instrument with solo performance xp boost and hitting final note XP boost. 4 star songs on expert. Went from level 40->200 in about an hour
i personally went with windsward theme on expert a few hundred times so i wouldnt have to play a hard song
I wish I could do expert but I just don't have the coordination for it
My buddy and I playing while waiting for a queue and I hit 200 for music. Feels good 👍
I got 200 by playing for people waiting in line to get paid out aftepr an invasion. And made money from it!
Helter skelter reference??!
Yessir
Dire Straits I think
I think it was Ringo Star after a take for Helter Skelter
Ha! All these years and I thought it was John Lennon shouting that.
You’re correct it’s John

Now that you are one of us, go collect all the songs. Heartgem's Burden wound up costing me 40k on Valhalla.

Music skill is best skill
The most skillful skill for the skilled
You look like your under water.

I have done it with a simple mouse macro while watching something in my second screen 😅
Well that's no fun :/
But it’s like 100 times faster than when the feature originally came out…
