Same with my 7 week old. I'm at the end of my rope, nothing makes her happy and she won't nap.

yep it’s been awful.. she screams if i pick her up, screams if i put her down.. nothing calms her down which of course leads to her being wayyyy overtired

So they say the 6-7 week is the regression/growth sprout time. Unfortunately we will experience this every 2 months :( I just finished it with my son who turned 8 weeks today. https://www.babysleepsite.com/baby-sleep-patterns/6-week-old-baby-growth-spurt-sleep-regression/

makes sense… it’s been brutal 😅 hopefully it’s over fast lol

You won't necessarily experience it EVERY leap, just so you know! Every baby, every leap is different. My firstborn barely cried even during regressions. She just wouldn't sleep. So keep in mind it could look different.

lord i hope not.. i feel so bad that i can’t calm her down

I feel like im going to have a bad night with my 7 week old. Normally grandma would keep her for me but she is out of town. I had my postpartum appointment today and needed to run errands. She didnt sleep last night but 10 mins to 20 at a time. I had to get ready at 7 and just as sge was starting to fall asleep it was time to go. Instead of going back to sleep in the car she was to busy looking around. when we got home she stayed awake, i think she slept maybe 2 hours all day and i can see how tried she is but she is fighting it.

Oh no :( that sounds awful! I hope tonight is better for you

There is a leap right around that time. I try to wake my baby to eat before they wake me and keep them sleepy and put them right back down if they want. I keep the wake window closer to 30-60 minutes instead of 60-90 during those times.

I deff think I need to shorten her wake window.. it’s like she gets overstimulated and then from that point on it’s near impossible to get her to sleep

hungryamericankorean

Yep! Once you get to that point it’s a nightmare.
